Security at Port Canaveral?

Is the Port Canaveral cruise parking garage fairly secure? I thought I read that it was gated and had guards 24 hours a day but I don't know where I thought I saw that....
We will be spending a few days in the parks before driving to the port and I would like to leave as much as we can in the car rather than trying to haul it all with us for a 4 night cruise. We usually leave next to nothing behind in the vehicle when parking it somewhere "just in case" but in this situation it makes sense not to carry it all on the ship with us!!

Thanks for any opinions and advice!

It is very secure, lots of people posted on a similar thread a week ago and all agreed.

I have left a car there gone on a seven night cruise and left our stuff in the car.

All of the area is gated and protected, guards i do not know I haven't been there after the cruise has departed but I assume that it is.

People can't get into the parking garage unless they have a cruise and are checked in by security or they work there.

I have never had an issue either at Disney's Port Canaveral terminal parking garage. We typically don't park in the garage itself because we tend to have a larger vehicle. Last time we had a 15-pax van and parked near the handicap spaces just south of the garage.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but Disney Fantasy I LOVE your avatar :lmao:

Security at the port is a fascinating topic, as expected, when you investigate deeper.

We always park at Port Canaveral garage located directly across from the DCL terminal. It is incredibly convenient, and in our opinion worth the premium price. And we feel confident in the existing security protocols.

Having said that, ... I must share more tonight.

In the past, the CPA (Canaveral Port Authority) was flamed for creating this video, trying to lure sailors to pay for "their" parking within the port, as many other offsite businesses expanded, and offered less costly alternatives.

It's priceless, IMO. ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOEG4n5_tKw

The CPA got reamed/slaughtered in the local media and public opinion POV.
It was priceless. :lmao:
They redacted their video eventually.

During my search for that old video, I found this one with unusual content IMO. ? ? ?

I welcome local input.
Is this info in anticipation on the new terminal. Or is this just the usual local banter?

This is news to me.

Perhaps they are speaking of patrols outside the perimeter ? ? ?

TIA
