What is the secret to getting in the 10 fast finger seats on the stage. I know you can get in the hot seat no matter where you sit but I think it would be neat to sit in one of those 10 seats.
I have been to Who want to be a millionaire before and my 18 year old cousin even got in the hot seat.

We were sitting waiting for the next show and a CM came up to us in the front of the line and started handing out hot seat passes. I went and had fun with it. Get in line early and you might have a chance.

My family (2 adults, 2 teens) was picked the very first time we went to Millionaire. We were just in line. The other family (of 4) that was picked had asked after the previous show if they could be in the seats. They were told that they could and so they waited for the next show. Then another couple were picked while in line.

Being at an early show and to score high, as soon as you know the answer to the question, tapping it as quickly as possible. If you reach C and decide neither A, B, or C is correct, than hit D as fast as possible as they read D. It's all about timing.

The people in the ten "fastest finger" seats are normally selected from the FastPass holders who are in the FastPass waiting area early and who either ask the CM or otherwise is picked by the CM. I have seen CMs give these seats out randomly or ask for vounteers before if you are there early enough. I have also seen someone demand to sit in these seats and the CM refuse this demand in favor or other guests who were more patient. These seats are allocated fairly quickly.

My wife was in the fastest finger seat when I was on the hot seat and I outlasted the show and came back as a returning hot seat contestant. In between the shows, the CM asked my wife if she wanted to sit in one of these seats while I was on the hot seat and she jumped at the chance.

There is no real advantage for these seats in terms of getting to the hot seat. My DW did say that you get a better view but that was about it. I have never sat in these seats and have never seen anyone in these seats make it to the hot seat.

I was in fastest finger seat #10 when I made it to the hot seat. It doesn't matter where in the audience you are sitting to get to the hot seat, its all a matter of luck and timing.

Just remember it is harder sitting in the hot seat than your couch at home.

I completely forgot that I had a lifeline left when I blew the 32,000 point question.
Beat myself up for days afterward. But it was definately worth the chance to play.
