Hi,

I booked Tusker House soley to get priortiy seating for the Nemo show. We are on QSDP and this meal would be oop. It will be just me, DS-10, and DD-8. Obviously, DS will have to pay the adult rate but he is a picky eater and will probably just eat nuggets. I guess my questions is, does anyone think it is worth it just for the seating for the show. We will be in AK on June 14.

We ate at Tusker House back in November to get the priority seating for Nemo, but it was part of our free dining. For us it made sense since we had a tight schedule and we HAD to see Nemo. The kids had seen it during our last trip 3 years ago and LOVED it. So it was a priority for us to do again. Our seats were amazing. It was really crowded the day we were there and it was great not to have to worry about lining up and getting seats. And we loved the food at Tusker House. There were 8 of us from ages 6 to 66 with very varied tastes and we all really enjoyed it.

We ate at TH shortly after it opened (within a few months) and hands down it was the best buffet we at our entire stay (out of FIVE buffet meals!)

I definitely wouldn't skip Tusker House!

The only reason we aren't eating there next month is that we won't have park hoppers and are skipping AK due to our super short trip.

I like Tusker House, but I think if you're only doing it for the Nemo seating it isn't worth it. Just get to the theater before and you'll get a seat.

Getting seats at Nemo was not a problem for us, but we went during a less busy time of year. Tusker House is a wonderful, very delicious buffet and has a lot of variety. I don't know how to characterize the food but look at the menu. Much of the food had what I'll call African or Indian spices but not all, some of the food was more "normal".

We didn't go to Tusker house last year for lunch or dinner because we went for breakfast at Donald's Safari breakfast which we LOVED. You don't get priority seating for Nemo, but you do get Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck in their safari outfits. And the food for breakfast was just as amazing!
