Okay,
So I am by no means a newbie to these boards or to WDW. AP holder the past 3 years and have traveled 2 to 3 times a year to my happy place. I have a trip planned with the AP discount for 9/8 - 9/18 and am currently booked at POR. I've stayed there before and liked it well enough but that was in 2005. Stayed at POFQ in March 2008 and did'nt really care for it. It was okay but my favorite resort is CSR and thats generally where I stay. So I'm torn do I stay at Por and give it another try (worried about jam packed buses) or do I go back to my favorite Csr and Upgrade to waterview or broaden my horizons even more and book CBR ? (never stayed)
I am so confused!!! Anyone have any insight? :confused3:confused3

My favorite is the Wilderness Lodge. The architecture is amazing. Take a look!

Since you're not sure what you want, why not try something new? Change to CBR.

My vote try to try something new!

We stayed at POR for 2 nights last December in between some time share reservations. I had stayed there before and liked it.

I don't think I will stay there again. Wow did the room need updating.

I stayed at POR 2 years ago and loved it...but I like to try somewhere new each time I visit. Go for CBR!!! Or, rent points and stay at a DVC villa for probably less than what it would cost for a moderate! Have a GREAT vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!:cutie:

Thanks for all the replies guys! I've decided to stick with POR and I just rented a car this trip. So buses will not be an issue! This also means that I can hit Universal ans other offsite attractions as well! I was really on the fence about CBR but I just love the boat to DTD and am hoping for my first stay in the mansions section.:goodvibes:goodvibes
Thanks again!:dance3:

I know last year I took 4 trips and each time stayed at a different moderate property. I have stayed at POR and that is still My favorite, started back when it was Dixie Landings. Good mix of space and atmosphere. But they all have a different feeling to them. I have stayed at all of the moderates and still will pick POR. I do wish for an update tho the rooms at CBR were very nice, I just don't care for the dining and layout of the property.
