We have been on the seven day cruise and we are going on the Wonder this fall. On both trips I booked them about one year ahead of time. Next year (fall 03) we would like to go to Disney World. How early should I try and book this trip. Can I book a year ahead of time like on the cruise? Is the refund policy similar to that of DCL? Can you get a full refund within 60 days of travel? We would like to stay on Disney property.

Hi Mike! It's really not necessary to book a WDW trip for 2003 this soon, unless you were traveling during a very busy time period (such as Christmas week) and absolutely had to have a certain resort. Disney is not even booking packages for 2003 yet; although they will take a room -nly reservation (but will not guarantee the rate, it could increase once pricing for 2003 is released).

For a regular room-only reservation a deposit equal to one-night's stay plus tax is due within 14 days of your booking, and the final payment is due at check-in.

For package reservations (those that include passes), a $200 deposit is due within 10 days of booking, with final payment due 45 days in advance. If you have a Disney Club package, the deposit is $100 with the final payment due 21 days in advance.

I'd say wait till pricing for 2003 is release before worrying about making reservations for next year...which should be sometime this fall.

Hope that helps! :)
