Oh my goodness!!! Amber....my heart aches for your family and you!!!
You are not having a break at all!!! Either are the kids and your hubby. Sure glad he got better and able to join you at the hospital! Please take it easy and sure hope Savannah will get better! She is sure one strong girl!! Can't believe that she would smile after something that would irate her!!! She's a strong fighter!!!!
Take care and our thoughts are with you all!!!
Amber - I am just popping in quickly to say hello and sand my prayers that you'll get the answers you want and that you can soon all be back at home - and healthy - very soon. You have been through so much, and you are so very strong.
That xray contraption brought back memories for me, too! Our little ex26 weeker premies certainly had their share in one of those things!
We've all developed an unnatural "oh here we are again" approach to hospitals, because we have had to learn to cope. That doesn't mean it's any easier. It's tough, and it breaks your heart to see your little one go thourhg these things, and to be separated from your other children.
Just checking in to see how you are doing. Took my little one back to the Dr. yesterday----we did tubes back in June and she just had her 3rd major double ear infection since then. Praying that with a different perspective on board at the hospital that the pieces of the puzzle with finally be put together.
I THINK it was on the Wish Trippers Unite thread...volume 1...but it seems like it was a little while ago? Or it could be on her pre-trippie? It had check boxes on it...
PM me if you can't find it. But I have to run...Lauren has me working on a little project...

I'm sorry guys. I usually try to post everything I post to our family blog here as well. I haven't ever included my blog link because I worry about wierdos but it's too much right now to do both So here is the link to our blog: http://greenawaltfamilylife.blogspot.com/ If you would like to catch up go back and read days 2-6. You'll have to scroll down and work your way upwards. Please don't forward the link for security reasons. Thanks! Much love to ya'll off to wake Savannah for a middle of the night feed
Amber, I am praying that some answers are found soon. Savannah sounds just so much like Nick when he was a baby. He ate 60+ oz a day and still lost weight . Did they do anymore immune testing? I know the levels they did are normal to be low at her age but maybe if they are really low they should some more testing. Her completement system, vaccine titers (if she has had vaccines). I am thinking of you guys. Hugs!
Way to go on the gain!!!! Have your Dr. write a script for the formula and take that to the pharmacy--they may deny the first time, but contest it---let them know that they can pay this little fortune or a huge fortune of more whatever. Sometime WIC will take kids even if the parent does not qualify based on medical issues--just something to check in on.
Another thing--when she gets off the formula stage look into rice milk organic enriched--if she does not have issues with rice---the enriched has more vitamins and stuff---it was a lifesaver for my little one--she is allergic to cows milk protein which is different from being allergic to milk or lactose intolerant. She still has not gained any weight, but she is no longer pooping 8 times a day and is actually starting to have a normal poop--she went like a nursed baby even though I stopped nursing at 8 mths and she is now 15 mths. Her bottom that looked like someone was always takinga meat clever to was the first thing to show signs of improvement when we put her on rice milk.
Yahoo!!!! Welcome home. That is so awesome!! Wow...Savannah is doing well with her weight gain! Enjoy being at home with the rest of your family! Don't worry about the Christmas decorations...make sure you have time to relax too!!! Please wish a very happy birthday to Sebastain for us!!!
