Hi,

I did a search for this info and most of the posts were a couple of years old. We are not planning to go until August 2014, but Alaska is already almost there with posting flights. We are interested in taking the red eye and for July it was available for $204 inclusive one way. Should we grab it if/when August becomes available or do you think it will be cheaper closer to?

Thanks! :goodvibes

Well first, the lovely thing about Alaska is that IF it goes lower AND you catch it, you can get a credit back to your Alaska Air "wallet".

I would have sworn I saw a 170+ fare at some point for our October trip, but I also might be making that up. We didn't catch it, that's for sure. But we had a companion fare that brought DH and DS down to around that level with the one normal fare.
