Seamless gutters???

DH and I will be making some home improvements this spring. Some of them include new roof, painting the house, new shutters, and new gutters. Currently, there are wooden gutters on the house which we want to remove and replace with vinyl ones. Someone mentioned "Seamless gutters". Do any of you know anything about these? Any brand names or companies you can recommend? We've heard it's better to just hire a company to install them, rather than buy the materials and do it ourselves.

We obviously are not in your area, but we had seamless gutters put on our new home and we love them.

It was fun to watch them make them on site.... ours were just one guy and his 7 year old son.... and it was done in a very short time. I think it was well worth what we paid them!!

Seamless gutters are the only way to go. They bring a big roll of sheet metal (your color) and form the gutters to the length you need. They don't leak anywhere since there are no seams. If you have someone in your area who does this, ask them to provide you some references that you can contact. You definitely don't want to buy sections of vinyl gutters. Unless you really know what you are doing, they will come off in the wind or if you have a hard storm. Get someone to install your gutters and get seamless ones.

usually when the new roof is being done the roofers would also ask if you want to replace the gutters as well. At the same time they should check all the flashing and soffits around the roof area of the house. Whatever you do, wait until the roof is done before you get the new gutters. Oh yeah, seamless are the only way to go. There's a place here in NY that actuall specializes in seamless siding also.
