Sea World vs Disney Pricing

They should call this the "seven year article"

As in they push things too far every seven or so years for the rest of the country/world to keep pace and then wonder what happened?

And Orlando...riding the coat tails to the nth degree...is always worse. Right now there are God knows how many cranes and bad condo developments being built all over town - as usual. By business speculators thinking that a travel bubble won't burst...but it always does. They never learn.

You would think that multiple travel bubble bursts would teach them a lesson.

Does that mean your retirement savings is all cash? :duck:

I said "speculators" - blood sucking Devils from the underworld.

Not investors.

And besides...none of us are going to retire...proven by the "everybody has tons of money" premise currently being run with by TWDC

Hehe..."speculators"..."investors"...."potatoe"...."potato"

An investment is a speculation that didn't work out.

As in ... I was hoping to make a quick buck but the stock/condo/currency/commodity tanked so now I'm in it for the long term.

Disney should keep this in mind: they're not a bank. They're not TBTF. They might be able to violate federal immigration laws with impunity (and arrogance) but they're not banksters. They're highly dependent on brick and mortar investments and even more than that, they're dependent on the public having very warm, happy feelings about them and their products.

They can play the speculative game all they want, but in the end their meat and potato(e)s are ... investments.

And to stick to the subject, many of those who speculate on a $79 SeaWorld ticket are going to be very happy that they did.

I love Seaworld at Christmas.

Since the restructure of the WDW annual passes, after many years of renewing, I will be "priced out" of the WDW annual pass that has no blackouts when I renew in July.

Since I will be BLACKED OUT for WDW for most of the Christmas season, My family will go to Universal and Seaworld.
