I have seen a post about trainer for a day at sea world. What is this, and how much does this cost? Any info would be appreciated.:D

Sea World's Trainer for the Day program cost me about $349. What they did was allowed two guests (by reservation) to go behind the scenes of the three stadiums (Shamu, Sea Lion and Otter, and Key West) and interact with the animals. You help in training sessions, get personal one-on-one time with animals, help prepare fish for them, help set up for the next show, etc. All from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Well worth it. I'm not exaggerating either. You could ask anyone who went through this program and they will probably say the same thing. Best graduation gift I could've gotten.

Our daughter did this a couple of years ago, she is still talking about it...she got to play, basically all day long with the animals...do tricks...we started out the morning with a family dolphin encounter, then she continued in the trainer program and hubby and I toured the park. I was sorry I didn't do it with her, after all the things she got to do.

i went to be trainer for a day in may my trip report You can find this by searching under post by me. It was well worth the day.

I agree LarryM. I was psyched when my confirmation came back a few weeks after my parents signed me up. A great grad gift that I will treasure forever and hopefully act upon it when I get out of college. Look for me at Sea World Orlando when you go there in the next 10 years. :)
