Hi All,

I am in need of some help. I am thinking of doing a scuba excursion on either st. Thomas or tortola for an upcoming cruise in July.
I will be needing access to a bathroom once or twice throughout the excursion.

Has anyone done this excursion on either of the islands? What was the bathroom situation?

The answer to this will greatly impact my decision. Your help is much appreciated!

We snorkeled in St Thomas last month and the catamaran “Castaway Girl” had a bathroom on it. Tiny & barebones, but there if needed!

I would suggest reaching out to the local dive companies to see what they have. Its not something I really recall needing when diving and I'm not sure I could tell if if any of the dive boats I've been on have bathrooms.

I've done the scuba excursion on Tortola before, but not St. John's (yet). We are scheduled for both next month.

In my experience, it's completely comes down to the size of the dive boat that shows up, which may itself depend on how many people sign up.

Sometimes dive boats have toilets, sometimes they don't. If they don't, you can always just pee in the ocean, though people sometimes have trouble with this (like my son, and occasionally myself). Note that it is good etiquette to do this while you're in the water, not off the side of the boat.
