Scrapbook store at Downtown Disney

I apologize if this is duplicate info. I didn't have any luck with a search but you never know.

I was at DD this weekend and checked out the scrapbook store. What it is is a section of the bookstore (The 2 R's I think it's called) which shares a spot with the Art of Disney. There is actually a "make and take" section which has a sign stating that you should ask for your supplies at the register. There was a wall of scrapbook stuff including albums, page kits, stickers adhesive and pens. The adhesive and other stuff was Disney themed and they didn't have a very large selection. I didn't see any paper available by the page. I'm not really a "kit" or sticker kind of person, so it really didn't do a whole lot for me. The page kits had page toppers, stickers, paper, etc. in them themed to various parks. I was with a friend so I didn't take the time to get any more detail for you. Sorry.

But it looks like this is what we've heard rumor of-- it appears to be complete now, IMO.

I too was looking for individual sheets of paper and other supplies. The CMs seemed quite uninformed about scrapbooking. Also, most of the supplies were also located at the big Disney store (World of Disney?) which is the only place various discounts are honored. I was not too discouraged to make several purchases, however!

I agree about the CM's not being very informed about Scrapbooking stuff...although I loved the store and thought it was really cute, the CM's need to be better trained or something? They had no idea about some of the stuff I had asked for and it was really basic Scrapbook items...

Cute things though, but as I had said before in a post about this same subject, there was nothing in that store that I couldn't buy anywhere else!
