so i know from previouse posts that there is an outside company that you can get a scooter rental sent to your hotel. I was wondering if anyone had any information/suggestions on companys. we want to go to a few diffrent attractions so we were thinking of getting an outside company but idk how we would get in to the other places.... any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

I'm using Deckert's (714)-542-5607 and have used OC Medical in the past (714)-956-4690

Do you mean you plan to go to Universal or some other park or somewhere else you have to drive to? If so, how would you transport the scooter? I'm not sure how you could accomplish that.

We are renting an ECV from Deckert next month for my SIL, who has a bad knee. We are staying at GCH, so they will deliver to and pick up from the bell desk there. When I called to make the reservation, he asked the height and weight of the user and said we were all set.

I'll report back

yeah thats what I took OP to mean...pretty much all the scooter rental places will show you how to break down and reset up the scooters...they are fairly simple to do...the only issue that I had and that was when I went to wdw, is that in order to charge the thing you have to have the base, and batteries connected and thats half the scooter right there AND the heaviest part of it...it really can be a pain in the butt but you can put it right in the trunk of your car and or back of a van...its not that big of a deal...takes about 2 min. to put together and take apart:goodvibes

If you are renting a scooter and you are renting a car to transport it in, be sure to get a car bigger than you might otherwise need. My brother's friend needed a scooter and they had a midsize car. It was a major pain in the butt to break it down completely to go from one attraction to another. Had they rented a minivan, they would have only had to take one piece off.
