Would there be any issues with my older daughters ordering from the kids menu? They are 12 and 10. They just don't eat adult portions and I hate to waste food. Has anyone done this, is there an extra charge, and is it frowned upon? We'll be paying oop.

You won't have any problem doing this.

I agree that you should be fine. Be sure to mention it at check-in or when your being seated, because they won't automatically bring kids menus. If you don't, it's not a big deal, you'd just have to wait for them to get them and bring them to you.

Paying OOP you should be fine. I've heard of plenty of adults on here ordering off of the kids menus.

Our teens are 16 & 17 now and always get the kids burger combo. Our younger daughter loves their tomato soup!! I may actually do this next week, sometimes the adult burger is too big!

I ordered from the kids menu last year. Lol. But then again my kid ordered an adult meal. So they probably thought the kids meal was for my kid and vice versa. But anyway, I really dont think you will have a problem.

My 14 yr old dd still orders from the kid's menu 90% of the time (regular TS and signatures) and I don't mind as it saves $$$ especially considering how picky she can be. Hate wasting a lot of $$$ on food she won't eat. And I can tell you, some of the signatures have quite large portions for the kid's entrees.

Thanks! I wouldn't mind paying for the extra food if they would eat it- just can't stand wasting the food. I think the whole 10 year old adult thing is borderline ridiculous when it comes to food.. I get it on park tickets as there's more they can do, but my 12 year old is pickier now than she was at 4!
