Does anyone else write for their school newspaper?

We have a school newspaper, its called "The Prowl."
But I'm not on the staff because writing or investigating things isnt my thing.

Hahaha, actually, yes. My language arts teacher told the two "Gifted and Talented" classes that the newspaper needed more staff. (I'm in one of those classes.) She told the classes that she chose a few people from each class; she believed that these writers were "better" writers. So yeah, here I am, talking.

We have one, but you have to be in the journalism class to write for it, and it's not very good. They need a better editor.

Only high school has a newspaper but sometimes they bring copies to the Middle School which is cool but i will b in high school next year

We don't have a journalism class. It's just people who elect to write for it. I think that our paper should be run more efficiently. Articles are all out of date by the time they are published. It comes out 4 times per year.

Ya, I write for the school paper. But they only put like one out a month and I don't go to many meetings b/c dance and play practice. But I wrote 2 stories but they didn't put them in because the principle said they were too "contravesial (sp)".

TROOPER CHARGED IN FATAL CAR CRASH

The state trooper who was involved in the car crash that happened at Stagecoach Road and Route 631in (Township) on September 27, killing, Senior, Jacqueline (Deleted last name) and her older sister Christina, was charged on Tuesday October 24th .
Trooper Robert (Deleted last name) was cited for failure to stop or yield the right of way and careless driving. He allegedly was not using his lights or siren at the time of the crash and faces fines from $50 to $200 and up to 15 days in jail.
The prosecutor, Robert (Last name), has not confirmed whether or not Trooper (Last name) will face more serious criminal charges. Maria (Last name), the girl's mother has filed reckless driving charges, which will be considered by the prosecutor along with the other charges.
During all of this the girls’ mother, Maria (Last name) has not returned to her job as Principal of (School).
In a telephone interview on Tuesday October 31, 2006, she said “please keep in prayer that our justice system will support and prevent another tragic accident from occurring by sending a clear message to everyone endangering the safety of our children” She would also like to let everyone know that the (School) will hold a Walk-a –thon in memory of Christina and Jacqueline (Last name) on Sat November 18th. Registration is at 10:00am. All proceeds will go to Happy Home in Tamil Nadu, India, which the girls were involved in fundraising.
More than 3,800 people between the ages of 15 and 20 were killed in motor vehicle accidents each year. This is the leading cause of death in this age group. Young drivers are involved in twice the rate as the rest of the population. More than 30% of car accidents involving teens involve alcohol and more than 1,000 accidents are due to an impaired driver, whether it be themselves of someone else.
So when driving, whether your driving or not be safe.

our school has a section in the local newspaper. I dont write for it. im not creative in any way or good at writing.

but

we changed it to

The Raider Invaders


Because... our school team is the Raiders lol

We dont' have one.
The only one we ever used to have was the Super Sevens for the grade sevens, but they haven't done that in like 3 or 4 years.
