I've been out of school so long I really don't remember if we had them. The schools I sub at the most are Gulfstream Elementary and they are the Marlins and Robert Morgan Educational Center, who are the Pirates. My older daughter's high school called themselves the Penguins but I don't think it was official. They had no sports teams. My younger daughter went to South Miami HS and they are the Cobras. Now in college they both are at FIU and they are the Golden Panthers.

DDs last elementary school, named 16th & Haak (like the bird, hawk) had a hawk (what else!) for a mascot. Her middle School is the Southern Tornados.

I think her first elem. school was the same as the rest of the district - the Eagles.

Our town is little, so our elementary is in the same school as the middle school. But they stressed right from first grade that we were ALL the Auburn Braves. Now, since that's not politically correct, they're working on changing the mascot, which I think is a shame. The native Americans are a vital part of our town's heritage, and should be honored. The high school I'm at now, I'm a Crusader.

Our schools all had same mascot too. but then again there were 120 ppl in my graduating class too
and we were a larg eone,, lol

One of the few th e proud,, Fordyce Arkansas REDBUGS..lmao.. only ones in the states,,, ( but then, we have famous bugs too.. the late coach paul bear bryant grew up and graduated high school there,, was a great man too)

DS's school in FL was the Gators. Ha ha! Surprising?

My elem school as a kid was the Knights.

Oh geeze...this reminds me of the 'school mascot controversy' that went on when my little brother was in elementary school. The school he attended (which my sis and I also attended) had been around for 30 something years. For most of those years (as I understand it), the school's 'mascot' was a little cowboy (they were the Richland Rangers). He kinda looked like one of those Precious Moments kids in cowboy gear and it was cute. But when my brother was like in 3rd or 4th grade, some new parents with some really high-falutin' ideals moved into the area and joined the PTA. They protested that the mascot was gender biased because it was a cowBOY instead of a cow-well..I don't know the word for a person who herds cattle but has no gender whatsoever. After much fuss, the little cowboy mascot was changed into a goofy looking racoon wearing a cowboy hat, boots and a belt with a gun on each side.

I don't recall my elementary school having a mascot.

Middle School - Red Devils
High School - Rebels (yep I'm in the south and we flew the rebel flag at games)

DD is an Underwood Eagle!! They even have a song that ends "We will remember even when we're older that we love Underwood School! Eagles!" She is in Kindergarten and has this memorized! Crazy!

we were the Cavaliers in high school. The mascot was not the least bit scary or intimidating.

Went to 2 private schools in elementary school (K-12) and we were the Frontiersmen and the Warriors.
