I found a fare of $130 on Continental that would allow us to leave on the day we want and the departure time is around 5-6pm. I almost booked it but I really appreciate the fact that SW has such a great cancellation policy. Geez -- will this drama never end?
Oooh, that Continental flight is sounding mighty good. Doh!

But that no fee cancellation policy on SWA is the real gotcha, isn't it? I saw a few flights yesterday that I would have liked, but I've been spoiled by SWA's "no fee to change to a different flight/fare if the fare goes down." I about choked when I saw $50 change fees and $100 cancellation fees on others.
We finally bit the bullet and booked a one change for the flight home. It's not as good as that 5:00 one stop/no change (or your Continental flight), but at least we don't have to hop the ME at 7 am.

We do have a 3.5 hour layover in Albuquerque, but we'll probably just have dinner (mmm, airport food). And we have two free tickets to cover the 4 of us for this portion of the trip, so I don't have to choke on the $179 one way fare.
The interesting development is dh is now saying we should just fly down a day early just to get that good flight out (I told you--he really hates changing planes). Wouldn't that just be terrible--an extra day at WDW.

Of course, that messes with my ADR's a bit, but not as much as a really late Saturday arrival. So for us, yes, the drama continues . . .
Let me know when you figure it out. And good luck to everyone else!
