Just had them a couple of weeks ago at Jiko. Large and sweet and perfectly grilled. Served on Pap, which is sort of like polenta, with a spicy tomato sauce. Combination of sweet and spicy was great.
narcossees - prefectly prepared, not blown away by the flavor, but very good
Jiko's - my favorite out of the bunch, but probably not for those who does not eat spicy at all. isn't always on the menu thou, at least we didn't see it in nov, but was there last month.
The scallop appetizer at HBD is probably my single favorite dish. I think on my next trip, I'm just going to order one as an appetizer and then another as my entree.
I was not blown away by the scallops at Yachtsman or Narcoosees. I don't think they were on the menu in Jan at JIKO either.
Had scallops at a few WDW restaurants last couple of trips quick summary..
Blue zoo - great flavor, very very slightly overcooked, delicious
narcossees - prefectly prepared, not blown away by the flavor, but very good
Yatchman's - so, so..
Jiko's - my favorite out of the bunch, but probably not for those who does not eat spicy at all. isn't always on the menu thou, at least we didn't see it in nov, but was there last month.
What is HBD?
We have to agree. The oak grilled scallops at the Flying Fish are excellent.Flying Fish always has oak grilled sea scallops with a seasonal risotto, and they're excellent.
