I'm going to the Saving Mr Banks premier w/ DVC on Sunday at HS In both the promotional email and the confirmation email, the stress to bring a camera for a special photo op after the show, any one have ideas on what the photo op will be about?

Also, the movie starts at 8, but the confirmation email says the event goes until 11:30. Sonce the movie is just over 2 hrs long, what is the additional 1 1/2 hrs for?

And finally, will the provide us with popcorn/muchies during the movie or should we bring some with us?

Living up north, I've never been to a movie premier at Disney and simply don't know what to expect.

I didn't realize there was a DVC event at Hollywood Studios, but I did read a little about the one at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. The tickets there include a "Walt in Walt's Eyes" tour of the studio, visit to some of the sets of Saving Mr. Banks, and photo ops with Mickey, Mary Poppins, and Bert.

Perhaps some of the same characters will appear at the Florida event?

We saw it last night @ DTD in Anaheim and LOVED IT!!! Enjoy the movie!!

Have a great time! This was a case when my planning ahead. precluded our taking advantage of the offer.

One of these days, the stars will be aligned properly for me!:goodvibes

Just want to clarify. I am going to this event at the Studio on Burbank on the 19 and we are taking the Walk in Walt's footsteps self guided tour. Not sure what the Walt in Walt's eyes your is. It is not mentioned on any of the emails I have revived about this event.

I suspect it's a typo if there is a "Walk in Walt's Footsteps" tour. I got it off the official Saving Mr. Banks web site.

Saving Mr. Banks Web Site said:
The “Walt in Walt’s Footsteps” tour after the reserved seating screening includes photo opportunities with Mickey Mouse, Mary Poppins, and Bert, and a chance to see sets from Saving Mr. Banks, such as Walt Disney’s office and Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers’ home. Guests will also visit the Walt Disney Animation building and Legends Plaza to see the many historical plaques, including Walt Disney, Dick Van Dyke, Julie Andrews, and many more. Guests will also receive a 50th Anniversary Mary Poppins DVD.

To purchase tickets to this limited and exclusive engagement, call 1 (800)DISNEY6 or click through to the site.

We went to the Disney Parks Blog preview on Fri night. There was pop/water and popcorn. After the movie they had photos with Bert, Mary, penguins and Chimney Sweeps in front of the Chinese theater.

Awesome movie. Must see for Mary Poppins and Walt Disney fans. Great job DVC.

Last nights premier of Saving Mr. Banks at Hollywood Studios was great. The trivia game before the movie and the photo shoot after the movie was a lot of fun. We were the only people left at Hollywood Studios at 11:30 at night.

So, what was the special, "not to be missed" photo op all about?
