Weekends are SO difficult for me :( But, I think I did ok today.

Breakfast-1/2 Advantage Cookies & Cream Bar
Lunch- Hamburger patty with melted cheese/slice of cheese
Snack- Chocolate & Almond Carbolite bar/1 tbls whipped cream
Dinner - Stir fried beef strips with 1/4 cup green beans, 2 green onions and 2 tbls soy sauce

The good thing is the soy sauce has me so thursty that I'm drinking a gallon of water tonight.

So, how was your day?

My day went well, Advantage bar for breakfast.I also had a hamburger patty w/ cheese for lunch (copycat) :p , and I had some Chinese food with my son for dinner (low carb dishes only)

:)

Tomorrow is my weigh day, so we shall see!!!

Breakfast...1 Egg, 2 Sausage patties and a slice of cheese
Lunch...Roast Beef and Cheese Roll ups
Snack...1 cup lettuce, 4 slices cucumber, 2 tbsp Ranch dressing
Dinner...Chocolate Shake (the one glo recommended:p)

In all honesty, I wanted something more for Dinner, but I wasn't even hungry! I am amazed! LOL...After eating Dinner, I worked out with weights and I am just amazed that I am actually doing all this! :)

I think you will find that on Atkins, you desire to eat less and less as time goes on too!!

:)

This is the first diet I have ever tried that did NOT make me feel like I was being deprived & punished.

Kelsie, you did better than "OK", you did GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Proud of you doing so well on weekends, they can be tough!

John... You and I must have the same cook ;)

Beanie, you are doing great!!

I agree with John, I'm not physically hungry at all. It's just the mental demons I struggle with. But, I WILL win this time!! :)

Why do I have a mental image of Kelsie in a wrestling match with little devils?? :p

My life savings are booked on you winning the match Kelsie!!!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Thanks Kelsie and John! You both are great motivators!! I actually cheated a little already, well if you can call it cheated...:p I stepped on the scale "just to see"...I know, I know, I am so bad, but I couldn't help it!! I won't do it again though, I promised Kath!! :p:p

:):)

I did so much better!!! Mentally, physically, and spiritually!!! I ate less, regrouped my plan into baby steps and even got to go to a church service tonight. Thank you to all who helped me out yesterday and PM'd me, you guys mean the world to me!!!

You guys sound like you are doing really great. keep up the good work, and your goals will surely be reached!

Great job everyone! Keep it up!

I did good today too, and stayed on my eating program. I did want to get a long walk in today, but it was not meant to be as I had some commitments at church that took longer than I thought they would.

My biggest challenge today was dealing with 180 pieces of apple pie and 180 servings of vanilla ice cream. Huh?, you say. At my church this evening we had a men's choir and dinner for 180 people, and I had offered to help with the meal preparations. I was nervous when I was assigned to scooping up the pie and ice cream (Couldn't someone just assign me to roasting the asparagus please? I'm on a diet here folks!), but I wasn't going to grumble. I did it! I did it and didn't even taste a crumb of pie or lick an ice cream spoon. And it feels GOOD!

Princess Vija, I am glad to hear you are feeling better today!

HORRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!

I was having difficulty towards the end of the week. I held out alright Friday night into Saturday...........but I went to a friends Sat. night and totally LOST it!! The carb addict in me came out and I am continuing today..........

I plan to start up induction again tomorrow!!!!! I am hoping this will kick start me into losing again since I was stalled for about a week!!!!!!

Rosmary - I will be doing the same as you, starting induction again tomorrow. I didn't cheat at all but I ate some dip with celery over my friends house and it had sugar in it, which knocked me out of ketosis:( I asked her and she said it was just sour cream and a few vegetables, but it came from a mix that had sugar in it. I ate quite a bit too with about 4 celery sticks. Darn, I couldn't believe my stick was beige this morning, it's been on the dark side.

Good thing we can start again fresh tomorrow:D

Lynn, at least you were able to stop...........I continue today and had pizza, ice cream, crackers, dunkin munchkins and I am sure more................I totally CARBED out today.......

Good luck on restarting tomorrow. I will be thinking of you.......

I had a pretty good weekend. :teeth:

My goals involved eating less & exercising more, and I was successful at both! DH & I walked over 3 miles today outdoors. For me, that's a lot. I usually go 1-2miles at the most. Right now I think I'm too tired to eat! :earseek:

I'm really hoping for some good news on my weigh in tomorrow. I've been working my way VERY SLOWLY to my 5 lb clippie and I'm hoping to be able to claim it soon! :Pinkbounc

Nancy, I have walked along with you, at WDW, remember? When you walk you really move. I could hardly keep up. Good for you getting in such a long walk today.

Kelsie, I'm really happy and proud for you. I know weekends are just very tough for you but it sounds as though you were totally determined and motivated and you did great!

John, your continuing success doesn't surprise me one bit!

Bean, you are so busted! Okay, I guess I'll let you get away with sneak weighing (again).

Sounds like you did just fine without me hanging over your shoulder this weekend, sweetie. Good job :)

Princess V, I'm so glad the weekend was better for you and very happy that you are feeling better about yourself. I'm proud of you. Hang in there.

blanq, I am in awe. You managed to serve ice cream and pie and didn't even taste a crumb? Way to go! I hope you are very proud of yourself, because I'm certainly proud of you.

Rosemary, {{{HUGS}}} sweetie. Sounds like you stumbled a little but it also sounds like you are in complete control now. You are going to do fine tomorrow. We won't worry about the past because we can't change it. Let's just worry about one day at a time. Tomorrow is day 1 of induction for you, I don't doubt that you will do just great. Good luck!

Lynn, sugar is so sneaky, isn't it? It just sneaks into to all manner of ordinarily safe foods. Well, tomorrow is day 1 on induction for you and I know you're going to do great. Good luck.

I had a road trip. Spent two nights in Louisville and I did pretty good except I didn't use the work out room :(

However, my eating was totally on plan, didn't eat any sneaky carbs. I did have a diet coke and rum at dinner last night. It was a birthday celebration, my son is now 28 years old and we all had a celebratory drink.

I like Louisville. It's a nice city. I'm glad to be back home again, though.
