Saturday was exactly 6 months, still no BEO?!

I think it depends on your planner/florist...

I didn't get my "final" BEO until right before my payment was due. :confused3

I emailed the coordinator and asked for mine. I like to know what is going on. I didn't want to wait. I am not patient at all.

I got my first BEO about a month and a half after my planning session.

I got my final BEO about 40 days before the wedding.

it took a while to get the first one and we barely had the first revision prior to the minimum due date. it annoyed me, but ya gotta figure the minimum payment is the same no matter what you end up doing, so i don't think there is even urgency to have it by then!! eek!!

we got our floral one in like a month or something really quick, but the other took forever....

Also wanted to add... I had to pay my minimum expenditure 2 weeks before my planning session. I had no idea how much things were going to cost because I didn't have a BEO yet. October was a very busy month, give them a few more days/weeks.

I wouldn't be too worried, we had our planning session within 6 months of the wedding, and got our BEO a couple of weeks afterwards. There's plenty of time to make changes, so you should be fine.

Im 95 days out and still no BEO and still no idea of what our floral is looking like...not too keen on this...

We are less than six months and we were only signed our planner last night so we've not even got that far as of yet. I would keep chasing them.

How long ago did you have your planning session?

Our (DJ Disney Kid and myself) PS was on Sept. 24. I know we'll have changes... we just want to start working on the exact stuff to get the final adjustments done. We definitely don't want to get ours right before we have to pay :/

We got ours around 7 weeks after our PS. We did have a custom menu and a lot of custom things, like cake. Plus we ended up throwing in a lot of floral, etc.

I'd say, if you are at the past 6 week mark and you haven't heard back, just send an e-mail to your planner asking about an estimated time of arrival for your BEO, that should be enough to get you on their radar.

After we go the initial BEO we have had very minimal changes and it has been very smooth and fast.
