I'm trying to talk Mom into a short trip to Pamida. It's the new mini Wally World here in town. Wheelchairs I can push cause I'm not letting her drive one. Senior day, 15% off everything in the store. Wish me luck

I'll take the first cake Shannon. You shouldn't have but it looks delicious. I had a happy birthday to myself moment today. I actually lost .8 lbs this week. I don't know how I did it but I'm not complaining.

So I've been scoping out the ALLEGED code being ALLEGEDLY released tonight, and it looks like it won't help us (or at least, not me) for the chatter meet. It's supposed to be a buy 4, get 3 nights free deal, including park tickets and a $200 gift card. But.... who the heck can stay an extra three nights? I can't! On top of the non-refundable plane ticket I've already purchased, I'm leaving WDW Sunday to go to St. Pete for 3 days to visit my best friend, her family, and her brand new baby.

Don't get me wrong-- that will be wonderful--- but it's somewhat irking to know you have to pass up 3 free days in the World!

Someone on the codes and rates section of the resort board said that a CM told them it was "much juicier" than just 4/3 and the $200 gift card. They're all speculating free dining. I wish they'd just come out with a room only code. There are tons of people who can't go for 7 days, and like you said it doesn't help us at all!

Nope, doesn't work for us at all. Must be a package, and has to be 7 consecutive days. Plus, we already bought airfare, and mine is non-refundable with no adjustments, which sucks.

Oh well... better luck next time, right?

Hooter honking & moonrock slapping? I'm on it! And yes, I'm totally bummed about the deal. What's even more ironic is that my my mom JUST made her ressies, but can't modify to use the promo b/c she also bought her airfare. I bet there are a lot of people in the same situation. Unless you're already going to be there for a week, it's hard to "tack on" 3 extra days!

Happy Friday Sassies! Anyone have great plans for the weekend? I am working tomorrow, but that puts me over the edge for my floors so I will be ordering them tomorrow!! My dad gave us a credit at the store to use and that coupled with my dedicated slave hours has finally made my goal. They will be a lovely golden oak color and I will be ecstatic to be rid of the carpet in the living room and hallway. It isn't that old and my dad is going to use it in his guest house, I'm just not a fan of carpet and wanted it replaced since moving into this house almost 7 years ago. Then I will start working for our landscaping supplies we will need this spring, lots of retaining wall blocks will be coming my way! And the light fixtures on the outside of the house are looking dated. I'm going to be working for my dad forever I do believe!

Boy did I get the deal of the day today at Penney's. I had my eye on this sweater from their American Living section. It was a gray cable knit cardigan. Anyway the sweater was $60.00 and I didn't want to pay that much for it. Today I hit the jackpot because the sweater was on sale for 60% off so that put it to only $24.00. I also had my $15.00 birthday couple so I paid a grand total with tax of $5.43 .

Becca the floors sound really nice. I only have carpet in the bedrooms in our house. The foyer, dining room, hall and living room is hard woods, ceramic tiles in the kitchen, laundry room and bath rooms but carpet in the bedrooms. The carpet always looks dirty to me. Hopefully in a few weeks you'll have a whole new look to your house.

Shannon thanks for the hint but I haven't seen any driver of a big truck at my house yet. Maybe today.
