Oh, Tricia, she is growing up! I agree on the hair thing, too. Barney's school is having a middle school dance too but as he is in 5th grade (not middle school) he is eyeing it suspiciously from afar. I wonder how he will feel about attending next year.

I wonder what the Hags are up to? I hope they escape Chicago without an arrest sheet and a criminal record.

Funny thing Judi is we actually got a note saying that no Limo's were allowed for the dance. I was thinking WTH it's sixth grade people. Apparently some parents in years past must have tried the limo thing. I can't imagine me renting a limo for my 12 year old to ride less than five minutes to school.

Good morning, Sassy ladies! Judi - I thank my lucky stars on a daily basis that I have boys. I know myself and once I got past the cute clothes, there is no way I would be able to raise them properly! I'm much more of a "boy" mom, and thank heavens God knows that. He sent me what I could handle!

Tricia - how was the dance? Anything fun planned for the day?

Heather - are you all on the mend? How is the pup?

It's a lovely day and I believe that I will go hang out in the hammock for a while. Hasta la vista!

Just a quick post and run before church. We are going to the later service today because of our late night partying. My sister had an engagement party for my niece last night. Lots of fun, great food (which I limited myself with and did stay on program), and wonderful friends and family.

I hope you all are having a great weekend so far. How about our other Sassy girls in Chicago. You think they all have headaches today from too much boozing?

Hey there Sassies!! I am back from the Windy City and let me tell you it lived up to its name! We had bad hair days, but a great time. At least I did and there was no drama llama! Wicked was most excellent and should be seen by everyone. Hope everyone had a great weekend! I will upload the few pics I took in a bit, there is an especially nice one of Angie and some cheese. Thats my teaser.

Good morning everybody!! I'm back and let me tell you I'm exhausted!! It was a whirlwind 3 days! I had a fabulous time, but believe it or not there was not a lot of boozing-we were just too busy and got back to the room too late at night. I agree with Becca-it IS the windy city and my hair was the innocent victim! Oh yay-the cheese picture! Can't wait to see that lovely pic-NOT!! But it was funny so I'll allow it. Here are some highlights: dog poo in airport, snacks kindly left on the train for us, strange creatures all over our hotel and the convention center across the street (injection fairy anyone??), a strange lack of restaurants, and a green witch. Are you intrigued? Stay tuned and we'll fill you in!
