Oh Heather, I hope you all start feeling better real soon. Are you going to take Kate back to the Doctor? How long has she been sick?

I didn't think you had to be all that computer savy to get an avitar on your name. I can't seem to get one to work at the pie hole.:confused3

Good Thursday Morning

I wanna see Mrs. FoP morph.

Heard from Sarah, she's fine just busy and knows where to find us:thumbsup2

8 very long days and nights:sad1:

Joey is still having the same problem too. But today is only day number 2 for him. The doctor said to let it run its course and that as long as I give him plenty of fluids and he is acting fine to not worry too much.

I made my dr. appointment for tomorrow at 1. Now no one has to go postal on me!

Easier said than done. How many Mothers do you know that don't worry about their kids? Hopefully day eight will be the magic day for Kate and the virus will hit the road.

Heather, I had a norovirus in mid-Feb that lasted 12 days. Then BamBam got it and fought it off in 8, but Barney was the victor suffering for the fewest days, 5. Even after it passed it was another 10 days before my appetite came back. With that particular virus, it was really important to re-feed really slowly. Where with most viruses I would let my kids eat after 4 hours of no vomitting, we learned with that virus to hold off for about double that and then just tiny amounts. As long as we drank, it was okay. I lived on Gatorade for about a week. It was a really truculent virus and took forever to go away! If that's what this is, I feel for you, sistah!

Trust Mr. FofP, Judi, you don't want to see the metamorphisis. I am one stern nurse;)

Becca, are you able to stay off your ankle with the little ones around? I am glad you have an appointment now!:)

Tricia - I am so glad I am not the only "no avatar" person. I remain, faithfully, computer challenged.

Wilma somehow I figured it out. I can't even explain how because I have no clue. I just made a few clicks in the right spot and whamo I have a cute little Minnie avatar. :confused3

You just want to take the attention away from your third ear that's in the middle of your forehead.

Please...no one ever notices it cause I have strategically placed bangs. :snooty:

I think I get a clothing catalog called Newport News. What a co-ink-a-dink. Bonnie do you like when your hubby goes out of town? I don't mind so much because Mark really only goes about three times a year. Not much cooking going on when that happens. :thumbsup2

What's up you Sassy ladies?

Hi Tricia! It doesn't bother me when he goes out of town. It's easier on me, actually. Less cooking, I don't have to take him to/pick him up from the commuter lot each day. But we miss him while he's gone. It's good for him to get away though, I think he really enjoys the work trips. He gets to hang out with his coworkers in the evenings and play golf and go see baseball games and stuff so he enjoys it. So he comes home in a good mood, which I really enjoy! :goodvibes

Howdy, Sassies! Becca, get your patoot to the doctor today or I will have to morph into Nurse Ratchet. Ask Mr. FofP: you really don't want that. ;) You are being as bad as a man, lady!

Good morning, Tricia and Bonnie!

Morning, Wilma! How's your day going? Girl, we have no principal today and no front desk chick. We never have an AP (which is why she wants me to be it). So anyway, she has me watching the front AND cooking, which I have never done before. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off!

You ever noticed just how much you use your thumb? I just slammed my in a door. Ouch!! It's hard to navigate the mouse without it. :lmao:

Awww...sorry Tricia! Hope your thumb feels better soon!

Man, Bonnie- what a pain. I hope you were cooking something tasty, at least! We are lucky in that when our director is out, they just close her office and visitors are out of luck! But, if something goes wrong on those days you just have to fly by the seat of your pants. I think I'd rather have Bonnie come to the rescue!

Have you decided about the job?

Hi everyone........Cross your fingers that Kate will be going to school tomorrow. She seems to have gotten steadily better since her last episode this morning.

The doctor said to give it a couple more days and that as long as she is drinking enough we should try to continue letting it run its course......I hate that phrase. ANyway, I am hoping she is at the end now. None of us has had a fever at all.

Joey is still having issues but it seems to be lessening also. *knock on wood*

The dog came home today. We are calling her Jasmine....personally, I think she looks more like a Ginger to me, but I was outvoted. I am having the last laugh though because she has been my shadow all day.

She seems really really sweet so far. She has a bone to chew on and Joey got right up to her before I could stop him and I had a moment of panic but she just ignored him. :scared1: Scared the life out of me though. Joey has had more than one timeout today for getting too close to the dog and her toys. He is going to have to learn to respect her space and I would prefer to be the one to teach that lesson and not the dog.

She found a clothes pin on the floor and started to chew on it, and never made a sound or seemed to get upset when I took it away from her.

It is really funny how she follows me. Scott is a little jealous I think.

Alright.....I will be back in a little while. I have to get kids in bed.

Glad she's feeling better Heather.

Jasmine is our neighbors dogs name. Only she is a Bouvier and not cute at all like your Jasmine. How old is she? I'm really glad she is tolerant with Joey and her toys, that is a good sign.

She is less than a year, I think. She is a medium size dog and seems very very sweet.

Howdy, kooks! TGIF!! I could not be more thrilled that this week is almost over!

Woo, is it rainy right now! I need not bother fixing my hair, IMO. Plus, my new sod is getting a BIG drink and I won't have to water my lawn later. Today is already much better than yesterday!

How's it going, hags?

Well, if I accepted the AP job, there would be many more days like yesterday. I am dissuaded!

Guten Tag Sassies! Hope its a good friday for everyone.

Good morning, Sassies! We had tornadoes last night but not too much damage in our neighborhood. Trees down, some house damage, but no one was hurt. Now it's soggy and wet outside, which will make my morning at school all the more challenging. No outside time means that we get to practice calisthenics:rotfl: .

Bonnie - I can see why you are dissuaded. Maybe yesterday was a blessing in disguise - a way to help you see what the job would really be like. Sounds like it might be a Girl Friday position, and those are always tough!

Heather - hooray for Jasmine! Glad things are going well. Is Kate going to school today?

Becca - is your MD appointment today? Is the ankle feeling any better? I'll be thinking about you!

Hi Judi, Angie and Tricia!

Top of the morning to all your sassy hagalious babes.

TGIF! :cool1:

This morning I'm doing a little Mother's Day shopping. Not for gifts just for the food. I'm having all my family over for a BBQ.

Heather I hope today's the day Kate goes back to school.

So tell me about little Jasmine. What kind of dog is she?
