Toots, no forget airport Senora

Becca, It's still pretty quite up here. May your storms pass quickly

Storms over and power is intact, its a good day! I didn't want to haul my booty onto the slip and slide to cool off, that wouldn't be a pretty sight!:rotfl2:

I don't have to go!! My brother offered to pick him up. I think he just wants to talk Brent into going to a late-night movie! Whatever works, as long as it means i dont' have to drive into DC, I'm thrilled!

Bex, do you lose your signal a lot? That's why I am anti-sattelite, I'm afraid it will go out too much. My mom has satellite and when I stay with her it seems like it is always going out!

Hey Sassies!!!

thursday_rocks_3d_guitar.gif

This pic is in honor of my son who is at church camp -- I really miss him! He loves guitars and has been taking lessons for about 3 years. He claims when he gets his record deal he will get me a pink cadillac and a corvette. Isn't that cute!!

Anyway, dear sweet Atlas was restless overnight and we got up at 3:30. :headache: And I have to go back to work today after having about 6 days off, so I figured I would just stay up so I didn't fall back to sleep and oversleep or feel worse, if that is possible. I also think I pulled a neck muscle....

So I guess I am a CRANKY SASSY!!!!!!

Hope you all have a superb day!!!!

Morning, Sassies! Hope ya'll have a wonderful day!

Judi, I must say that I find all this title-changing most disturbing!

Morning Julie

Toot, get with the program. new name, new first post picture
Humor me, you try staying in the house 24/7 except for doctors. I need to find my entertainment somewhere.

As for Directv, I likee. Not many problems with outages. Plus when you live in the country we don't have cable. We're lucky to have indoor plumbing.

Good Morning Sassies

Yes the fire rainbow is real. I snoped it :)

Good morning beautiful sassies.

First day this week I didn't have to wake up to an alarm. :thumbsup2 I still got up at 6:45 but it makes a difference when you wake up on your own. Today I have to help Kendall pack for Cheer Camp. She is so excited and I'm thrilled for her. I have to admit that I'm really going to miss her. :sad1: She's never gone away to camp before. :guilty: We're meeting at Target tomorrow at 8:15 and will caravan the girls to the College. :cheer2:

Did I mention we are going on vacation next week? Gulf Shores here we come.

Good morning Sassies!

Bonnie, I love Directv and we really don't have many issues with losing signal. Only when it theres lots of wind and rain. If its just windy or rainy we don't lose it at all. We can get cable, but the way we work our directv is way cheaper than cable around here. I have a dirty little Directv secret, shhhhh.;)

Judi, I want the boys back! I don't even have a pool anymore, but want them to come and clean Specks wading pool.:rotfl:

Tricia, Kendall will have a great time, but I bet she will be a little homesick too. I was when I went to camp, I missed my mommy! Have a great vacation!

Angie, is your air working yet? Don't they realize your cheese will spoil if it gets too hot? They need to get their priorities straight or maybe its Gertie sucking out the nice cool air and replacing it with her hot gasous substance.:scared1:

Hi Julie, Heather, Kimmy, Rella, Granny!

Tricia, what a great adventure for Kendall and you.

Becca here ya go

It is Thurday Angie.

Good morning, Sassy wonders! Judi - I am all for the name changing. Keeps me on my toes, buys you a bit of entertainment. That is a gorgeous rainbow!

I am working on 3 and a half hours of sleep today, so by 2 pm I will either be cranky or comatose. I am sure the boys would choose comatose! Last night was our last summer league meet of the season (thank heavens!) and champs are next Friday and Saturday. Then, it's a month long break from swim practice. and a nice vacation to the beach.:thumbsup2 I really need to get away.

Bonnie - how did the ortho go? Is your bank account lighter and your girl's mouths heavier? I think that is the general plan, isn't it? Have you been pie-holing it lately?

Becca - when is your September vacation? Will the boys be back in school by then or not?

Angie - Becca is right about your cheese. Watch it - we can't have you getting ill and absent from defending us from a possibly errant Gertie. How are the doggies?

Tricia - Packing for camp is a challenge, don't you think? The first year I sent Barney to camp I packed a ton of stuff for him and I think he only wore about half of it. And, the soap was never opened.:scared1: We had to have a talk when he came home about personal hygiene. I am sure you won't have the same issue with Kendall! Is the camp far away?

Julie - Atlas has not been showing up for swim practice. He's gone the way of that frog Becca sent me. Please tell him he can wear arm floaties if he needs to, but if he's going to be up at 3 am he might as well be backstroking.

Hi Granny, Rella, Heather and Kimmy!

Thanks Judi! I needed that!

Wilma, I'm in the same boat as you, only I got no sleep last night. I had some Coke with dinner and I know better, but it tasted so good. So Mr. Sandman stayed away from me, now I'm butt is dragging already! We are going Sept 18-27 and yes the boys will be in school exactly 2-1/2 weeks before we pull them out. Their teachers already know and they are very laid back about it. Love the school they go to!

Good morning folks!!

JOey is 4 today:sad1: We are going to Chuck e Cheese tonight for a mini party. I made the mistake of saying "give me a hug birthday boy" when he got up this morning and he said "let's sing and have cake!!" It might be a long day til the party.

I am making his cake again this year but I have no idea what to put on it:confused3 I think I am just going to write Happy Birthday Joey in blue icing...nothing fancy this year......or I have leftover pirates decorations from a cake I made Scott that I can put on it:confused: What do ya'll think?

How is everyone? It has been awhile since I have been able to chat?

Morning Mrs. FoP & Heather

Heather, pirate works for me pirate:

Tricia & Wilma both on vacation  :woohoo:

Wilma, went looking for some help for you and this is what they told me

:confused3

Well Happy Birthday to the big 4 year old.

Heather my kids want me to take them to Chuck E Cheese today too. No birthday celebrating but hey if I go I'll be sure to think of Joey.

Wilma I went to WalMart Tuesday just for stuff that Kendall will need for camp and spent just under $100. She also needed a few little gifts for her "big sis". They pair the 7th graders with an 8th grader on the squad and they room together. Each day they give each other a little gift. Starts out with your favorite candies, then a home made item ( which she bought a nice water bottle that she decorated with paint pens) and then something that has the school colors in it. It was really fun making all the little goodies bags up. I am a great bow maker. OK, I'm tooting my own horn here but I love wrapping gifts and making pretty bows. You'd think she was going away for a month will all the stuff we've got. She is only going for four days and has to wear certain uniforms each day (which makes packing so easy). Three days of matching practice uniforms and the final day is the real cheer outfit. :cheer2: Hey, <---- this little one has no clothes on. :rotfl:
So I pick her up on Monday and we leave Tuesday for the beach.

ETA~Judi thanks for bringing that cute firefighter over again. Oh, he just makes my day!!!! Is it getting hot in here?

Bummer, Judi. I thought that toothpicks were the answer. Don't know why people have to be so stingy with them - I only need two. Maybe I can borrow some from Becca.

Becca - I can't drink caffeine after 4 pm - I will never sleep if I do. We should have MSN'd! My wedding anniversary is 9/17 - how about you celebrate it at Disney for me? You must be sure to ride Buzz Lightyear in honor of Mr. FofP and Dumbo for me. Deal? I think our days of taking the boys out of school for Disney may be close to over - we'll have to see how middle school goes. The english teacher alone seems to assign enough work for 8 people, and she keeps emailing us with "updates" about what will be expected of the kids this year and additions to the reading list. Sheesh, lady - let me have my summer!!!!!!!!!!

Joey! Be good to your mom today - it was a big day for her 4 years ago, too!:goodvibes

Tricia - that camp sounds like fun! I like the gift idea! I am sadly lacking in bow making skills - can I borrow you at Christmas? ;)

Tricia, camp sounds great! I love the gift idea, so cute and it gives them something else to look forward to everyday.

Wilma, caffeine never used to keep me up. It started about a year ago, so no more caffeine for me after 4 either. We should have MSNed it would have beat laying in bed thinking about sleeping all night! I think this is our last time taking the boys out too. Brendan is in 4th grade now and we aren't going next year so he will be in middle school, I hear they aren't as flexible. Oh well, it was great while it lasted! I will ride Dumbo and Buzz in honor of your anniversary. I love Buzz, Dumbo I usually send the boys so I can get a good picture, but just for you I will ride it!

Rebecca, you may come claim your storms please. Had just got Mom out of the shower :woohoo: I'm not a friend of
