Julie where has the puppy gone? Atlas is a full grown dog now but still looking cute.

Hi sassies I'm much better today. That headache knocked me out. I had it for over 24 hours. I threw up once last night then started feeling better immediately. I've had migraines before but this really didn't feel like one. Who knows but I'm still taking it easy today.

Becca you're right about not remembering me being sick. I don't get sick often (knock on wood) and for me to stay in bed all day was weird. I feel like I missed out on a whole day's worth of stuff. Mark helped the kids with their homework while I layed on the sofa with an ice pack on my head and a heating pad on my neck. Good times!

Tricia, Brian gets headaches like that once in a great while. Once he throws up he feels a lot better, but it takes him quite awhile to get to that point. His aren't migraines either, but they really put him out of commission. Glad you are feeling better!

We only got 4" yesterday, but there were lake effect warnings until 1 am last night. They got hammered just a little bit west of me, but thats okay we'll get ours soon I'm sure!

Judi and Becca do you ever not have a white Christmas? We've actually had one once. Can you believe that? It snowed on Christmas day here in the south in 2004. Fun times!


ETA It's time to wake the kids. I'll be checking in between playing catch up on laundry duty today. It amazes me just how much can accumulate in just one day.

I think there were times in my teenage years that we didn't have snow for Christmas. I don't know for sure since I spent every Christmas since I was about 4 in the Florida Keys. I miss my mom and dad's vacation house there. He sold it after my mom died, too many memories I think.

While you Michiganders are getting snow we're going to be 86 today. This stupid "heat wave" is finally supposed to break this week and we should be in the low 70's and high 60's. I honestly get sick of warm weather!!

Tricia~glad you're feeling better! I've had that type of headache myself, and it's horrible! Don't do too much today-you don't want to bring it back on.

Julie~I like #3 also! Why do they grow up so fast? Sorry the holidays are a sad time of year for you. We are always here to listen or cheer you up!

Shannon~I never told you how much I enjoyed your vacation pictures!! Your boys looked so handsome in their tuxes. That's a part of CA I've never been to, but it looks beautiful!

Sorry I haven't stopped by in a few days. Amazing how time gets away from you!

Yesterday Riley & I were "stood up" while waiting at Chick-Fil-A for his playdate. Guess she forgot.... Came home to hear an almost unintelligible message from his pal's mom. She seems nice, but a little wacky, and I THINK the message said something about her daughter, the gym, and some grapes. She actually cancelled a playdate last Friday b/c, and I quote, "I have awful period cramps and am bleeding like a 12-yr old." I've only talked to her once before, and this is the kind of personal info I'm getting. I'm a little nervous about what I might hear when I actually get to know her!!

Had to cancel an appt to get our family pictures done tonight, because, like the genius I am, I totally messed up my hair last night. Bought the wrong color of dye, and there's sort of an ashy gray color clinging to my highlights. SMEXY! I've done this in the past, and it will wash out after a few shampoos. Have to reschedule the pics though-- no way are we memorializing my idiocy. You guys will be proof enough!

Other than that, I've been cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. And yes, I've been using a garbage bag! (for donations) I am jumping on Oprah's Clean your House bandwagon, and not a moment too soon.

Glad to see new pictures of Atlas-- what a handsome fella!

As for you snowy folks--- keep it please! We had A snowflake fall today. Well, maybe more than one, but still, it was enough to make me start practicing my Hawaiian. (thanks for the lesson Prof. Bex!) How providential that I bought a pineapple at the store this morning? I see a divine hint in there somewhere, don't you?

Pyscho dog Mama-- maybe you should borrow Bonnie's muzzle. It obviously works well on her! (LYMI Bon, wherever ya are)
