Becca, Funky Town's boring! I went to Fredericksburg last night to have dinner with a friend, and got stuck in some hideous standstill traffic on the way home. Disel accident with two VERY mangled deisels. Scary. i didn't get home till almost 11. What's new with you? When do you leave for WDW? Got my address? I'll be expecting a coconut post card, lady.

I will just say he's blessed! I'll PM ya the link if you really wanna see. They're pretty fuzzy and dark-someone took them with a cell phone during the performance.

I've joined the obsessively cleaning crew. I need my house spotless before I go on vacation or I can't enjoy myself. The fridge is clean inside and out, the dishwasher has been waxed as well as the oven. I need to self clean the oven and scrub the stove and then the kitchen appliances will be gleaming.

Angie, I will take the link because I need to feel like a dirty old woman.

Bonnie, I was going to send you a coconut bra and grass skirt instead of a postcard. Or maybe some alligator teeth. But you will probably get an anole since there are a plethera of them there. Just keep your peepers on the mailbox and get it out asap if it has airholes stabbed in it with a pen.

BTW, you both have emus watching through your bedroom lights at night.

I feel the need to go back to my silly roots. Speaking of roots, I have none with my new haircolor! I think I can skip a coloring as long as the grey stays under control or I may just color them in with a sharpie. They come in so many fashionable colors these days! I haven't been feeling myself either, so it feels good to be more like me, kwim?

And on that note:
Angie, for your gift from Florida you keep checking that mailbox in the 100 degree heat for some cheese. I'm sure it will be well baked before it reaches you however, probably quite oozey. Maybe I better find some in a can or jar. Slices just won't work for your climate this time of year.

I forgot to tell you all, I'm going to be having real stitches for the first time in my life! I've had dissolving ones before, but never the real thread kind. I have a mole that has to come off and get tested for the big C. I'm trying not to worry about it too much since I can't do anything about it until I know what it is. This was the one cancer I wasn't worried about since I'm 1/2 native american and have dark skin. I wouldn't have even had it checked because of that, but Brian saw it and said call your dr. So when I get back from my trip I'm going to have it hacked out and tested. The good news is I've lost 10lbs since I was there last! I knew I had lost weight, but it is never official until the dr. says so.

Becca-- Congrats on the 10 lbs, but so sorry to hear about your suspicious mole. I've had to have a few removed, and it's not too bad. The hardest part is waiting for the pathology report to come back, and also trying not to get it wet. But, since Michigan-ites don't bathe regularly, that shouldn't be a problem for ya, right? Or, you could always have the emus give you a spit bath! Anyway, I wish you didn't have that looming over ya while you're away. Try not to think about it!

Kimmy-- Ya ready for that OSU/USC game? I am so nervous-- we looked like crap against Ohio U!

Toots----Yes! We need to hang out! I've just been swamped though 'cause Ryan's been out of town for 2 weeks, plus my lovely mother was here... Rye gets back this weekend, so maybe next weekend we could do something? I hear ya on not feeling like yourself. Apparently, this thyroid med takes 6 weeks to kick in.

Heather-- DOG TREATS!!! That is full-on hilarious!

As for all of you freaky overly-clean house people... My house is always, always, ALWAYS a mess. It's clean from a hygiene perspective (I'm a fanatic about kitchen & bathrooms) but darned if I've learned how to de-clutter! And Riley is the world's biggest toy scatterer. Drives me bonkers sometimes!

In other news... I joined Nutri System. Between that and the thyroid med, I am hoping to lose my last 30-35 lbs this fall/winter!

Good morning ladies.

My house is smelling oh so good right now. I've got cinnamon rolls baking in the oven so they'll be hot when I wake up the kids. Can you smell them? Cinnamom in another of those words that I always second guess myself on. It's really an easy word but I always seem to have trouble with it. Thank goodness for spell check.

Becca way to go on the 10 pounds. I'm glad someone around here is losing weight because it sure isn't me anymore. I did really well once the kids went back to school then with the old Hurricane scare I got right back to eating again. Stress eating is the worst. I'm trying to get my butt back in gear for next week.

Good morning Sassies! I'm already tired of the school routine. How long until summer break?

Tricia, I love to bake cinnamon rolls in the morning too. It makes it very easy to get the boys up and moving. I'm a horrible stress eater too. I have been cutting out night time snacking and walking everyday. I'm going to have to keep it up in the winter so I guess that means the treadmill will need some dusting.

Judi, Brian is meeting friends in Jackson for golf on Saturday so no tax paying for me. I need to find something fun and inexpensive to do with the boys. I thought about Meijer gardens again, but it isn't so inexpensive.

Heather, I'm thinking about you.
