I loved the scenery when I was growing up. The river area in the city was beautiful. I remember some of the trips we used to take, ie: Cypress Hills, and even camp as a child was wonderful. I loved the feeling of a small city and the festivals were wonderful. I still have family that lives there and love going "home" to see them. Once a Saskatchewan girl, always.

I grew up in Regina, and we will be back there later this summer visiting my parents. Haven't been "home" in 7 years and am really looking forward to it. To paraphrase Jo, "You can take the boy out of Saskatchewan, but you can never take the Saskatchewan out of the boy".

Thanks to all the rain we've had everything is really green, too. I drive from place to place thinking "I can't believe this!" Ducks floating in the middle of a farmer's field, that sort of thing. This is my 4th year here and I'm finally seeing some of the beauty. We're in the Qu'Appelle valley now and it is beautiful.

Sask., is beautiful if you like mostly fields lol.

Alberta and British Columbia are much much prettier.
