We were in the last room in the last building of the Grandstand area. Here's our thoughts:
Pros:
Great quiet pool with a really fun splash park. The splash park is much better than the main pool.
Quiet section with a great view of the golf course.
The building is new and the room was very nice.
Cons:
What a hike!! The pool was halfway to the Carriage House and the walk to the pool was long. This makes it really inconvenient to visit the Carriage House frequently. Our last trip was a pool only trip and I found that we made it to the main pool once. It was really inconvenient to rent movies, participate in activities, etc. because the distance to the Carriage House really was a factor. My son ended up with severe blisters from walking back and forth. Forget the bus system. I don't think we ever figured it out because just as we thought we read the sign correctly, the bus driver said something else. It took forever to get a bus. We went to the Artiste Pallette one night and it took 45 minutes to get back to our room. We waited 25 minutes and then decided to walk to the room which took 20 minutes. UGH! Then my order was missing stuff!
If you want to go to the Grandstand area I would suggest having a car. That makes it so much easier. Also, if you are going to the parks, the bus system seemed to work fine. We saw plenty of buses.
I requested the Springs and have found that location is really convenient to all the goings on of the resort.
Good luck!
