Wondering how long it takes to get from the poly to epcot by monorail?

thinking of dropping off son at the neverland childcare. cant seem to find pictures of the sandcastle one at the beach club? does anyone have any experience you could share with either? were just wanting to do the food and wine festival for a couple hours.

thanks!!! :goodvibes

We have done both. The Neverland is very nicely themed.Sandcastle is a simple room, no real theme. We Prefer the Sandcastle b/c we stay at BCV and it is the closest for us to pick her up at the end of the night. Our daughter likes them both. She doesn't care which one she goes to, she just wants to go

Where are you staying? That might make a difference.

I tend to prefer to be within a short distance to where my kids are so if I were going to F&W I would prefer Sandcastle. We are also trying out Simba's this fall when we get an adult only meal at Jiko. I like to not have to depend on any Disney transportation to get to my kids if there was a problem.

Were staying at POFQ but planned on doing the f&w festival while we drop him off.

hmmmmm so the sandcastle room is still fun and has the same activities just no real theme?

I did think about having a nice dinner at one of those resort restaurants just to be even closer. but would love to walk around the countries and nibble also! as long as he's having fun too! I dont work so he's not at a sitter or daycare so he tends to really like these kinds of things just for a couple hours. Just planned on about 3 hours so i think he will be ok. and he's not one to cling to me and be scared. if he sees a video game he'll forget all about me :rotfl:

thanks for the info!!! :thumbsup2

My 8 yr old was perfectly happy playing video games at the Sandcastle Club. He still talks about it. Plus you are a 5 minute walk to the back door of Epcot.

If you are considering the Sandcastle Club for during the F&W festival, you need to book ressies asap.Last year we almost didn't get her in since so many people do use the Sandcastle club during the festival.Just call Disney Dining to book.It goes by people with ressies first, then if there are openings for that night on a walk in basis it is first come ,first served. There are not unlimited slots due to childcare staffing ratios.I have seen times when it is booked solid

I was able to get Sandcastle so went ahead and booked it :thumbsup2

So would it be quicker to walk to epcot vs taking the boat?
