That sounds wonderful, I miss my Whole House Fan....

I became allergic to Dust of all things when I turned 30 and can't use anything like that anymore... ughhh, but they are wonderful to have.

65 until AKLV CL/BWV However, fiance announced if he doesn't get a job in time, he's not coming I sure don't have the spending money for the both of us...I'm going anyway, meeting friends down there. I think he'll be fine, we still have 2 months to go, and he's should hear from 1 of not 2 of the jobs he's interviewed for, this coming week....Send tons of pixie dust if you can spare any.

It's tough out there so I hope he is successful with his current interviews!

I haven't been posting much, best wishes to those in transition and moving. I've spent the past week and a half packing up the FIL's house. I feel like we've gone through a move, but we still have our home in tact. It must be so disconcerting to pack up your stuff and not see it for months.

Less than two months until many of you meet up at WDW! How exciting for you all! I can't wait to hear back about all the great new F&W stuff!

Ours is running here this afternoon now. But I have to admit... it is 20 degrees cooler than it has been lately! Still in the 80s but doable!

And Laura is correct... it is a huge fan installed in the ceiling of your uppermost floor in the house. It exhausts through the attic and pulls cooler air through the whole house!

We always explained as a huge exhaust fan for your whole house. Open the windows and all the inside air is pulled out of your house replaced by the cooler air outside.

I just upgraded our family from POFQ to AKL pool view!! So excited ! We've (me, dh, ds 10, dd 5) never stayed here, and have only stayed at Pop. Any advice on room requests? Also, has anyone used Simba's for their kids...not sure if son will think it's too babyish. We'd like to drop them off and have dinner at Jiko

Question for all of you AKL veterans ... We've got our first stay at AKL this Sept (DH, DS7, DD5, and me). From what I've seen on different boards, we might be tight on space in our savannah view room. Are the closets singles or doubles? Any tips or tricks for making the most of the storage available? Thanks for your advice!
