Oh I totally agree!! Such a tasty site and a great way to start the day! Thanks for the view;)

I pictured you still packing up the house in Delaware!! You must be much more organized (and motivated!) than I!!

So how are you liking the heat & humidity? It's just as miserable here in Georgia. I spend lots of time indoors in the A/C!!

DD and DS took most of our furniture; the rest went to Goodwill. New house, new furniture. :rotfl2: All we had to pack was boxes.

We've had a lot of rain here and are spending most of our time indoors. Love the A/C.

Morning Jamborini's and Kidanites!!!

Today is DS's first day of 6th grade.............. OMG, I can hardly beleive it!!! He was so cute, he had to wear deodorant AND Axe!!!! LOL :rotfl2: He's so funny!!!

Hope you all have a great day - and thanks for the lounge pics.......... fantastic!!! :)

We have a savannah view. we are trying to decide if we "need" to go to animal kingdom as well, or if seeing the animals would be good enough from the room/hotel.

We have been to AK before, and love it. We have a then 2.5 year old. His favorite last time we went last year was Finding Nemo.

He is really into animals, but we are trying to do only 3 parks so we can have some down time at the resort, and go to a water park too, and MK (for LO) and Epcot (for us) are musts, and big brother is coming up from college for a few days and he picked DHS as his aprk that was a must.

Are we crazy for not going to AK?

Unless there's someone in your group who has their heart set on AK - no, not crazy! We've done several trips in recent years where we have only visited 3 parks. You can definitely get your fill of animals at AKL/AKV so if you don't need to see a show or ride EE, you should be fine leaving AK off your list this trip! (of course, that is JMO! ;))

Hi guys!
We are booked at AKL in a pool view BB room. Our last stay at AKL we were in a room on kudu trail that was right next to a big "intersection" where there was another short wing perpindicular to kudu trail. In that intersection there was the laundry room. Right across the hall from our room was an outdoor sitting area/balcony for public arusha savanna viewing. It was a perfect location! How can I word this in my room request? Basically, I want to be on zebra trail close to a public viewing balcony. Are these balconies on all the floors? I can't remember which floor we were on. I think maybe the 2nd floor.

And don't forget that your little one can still see Nemo at the Living Seas in Epcot, and do Turtle Talk with Crush!

No, not crazy. If I could "only do 3", they'd be the same 3 you picked.

We love AK...but mostly because of Everest and Finding Nemo. We're usually out of the park shortly after lunch....and we've hit just about everything.

With DHS...it's still not a full (or multi-day) park, but it's usually closer to 4 PM before we leave.

Let the party start :woohoo: Phase 1 complete. The movers just left with 3000 lbs of my stuff:rolleyes1 Time to party:

Glad the move is going well... as they say at AK... "Let the adventure begin!"

This trip for me is a short mommy and me girls trip- so we are skipping HS-its her least favorite (she's 4.5) I think for shorter trips you often need to perhaps make a few cuts. We also wont see all the characters this trip... so skip AK this time and just plan another trip real soon!

Thank you for both pics this morning:flower3: Y'all have made this adventure a little easier for me. I am very thankful for that. Tomorrow, all my stuff is going and gone:laughing: At least what is left for storage and than we are headed to a life of homelssness and being a nomad for about 8-10 weeks. At least that is what I am planning on until we get our new house in Okinawa.

My new saying "Let the adventure begin". Thanks
