New AKL guest... we are staying for our first time here Aug 20-31....
Hoping it will be all that I am dreaming about.
We usually stay at CBR and love it there.
But we wanted to try something new and so we picked AKL.

Anyone else going to be there in mid August?

I will be there at the same time as you-- post cruise from 25-29th. First time AKL'er too!

What can I say but a 25% discount got me here, I was originally booked at CSR but decided to move up to AKL. I figure this would a good move I'm trying so hard to make this trip one my daughter will never forget tons of research books to read and just a few more things to nail down and we will be set. Now if I could only make the days go by faster

Everyone kept telling me that my laptop wouldn't fit in there, so I brought my NETbook... STILL wouldn't fit in there.

I stay quite often, and nothing has ever been stolen. In fact, last year it was difficult to get mousekeeping to take their money.

If you have stayed a lot in AKL can you suggest where the best rooms would be for a Savanna view so I can add that to my requests, I know there is no guarantee but it might help

Actually, I meant that I stay in WDW resorts often (same safe). This June will be my first experience in AKL.

Hahaha I see sorry, maybe some one else might be able to give some insight into which rooms have the best view of the Savanna

Can't help re: the best savanna room since we were on the CL floor, but with your computer, we keep them locked in our suitcase and use a 4 number lock on the suitcase. I have always set it to a specific number and in over 12 stays not once has the number been even changed. I usually put it between our PJ's and a sweatshirt. If you want just take a towel or two and wrap it up also. I bought my lock at Walgreens and it was very inexpensive.
