Well if this thread dies because of the FB page I will be done with the thread. I worked really hard at times to make sure the thread has life to it. I will still continue the FE Exchange, but that will be it if the thread goes the way of the dinosaur. People who do not do FB will miss out what is going on there and feel left out.

This is what I am concerned about, people like you that joined out thread to participate and being left out of the conversation on FB. It can be very difficult to copy and paste a whole conversation between people on FB, so if you do not have FB you will miss out what is being relayed and feel like you are not part of the group.

Some of you have seen this already, and you will likely see it several more times before the cruise!! For those who are staying in Port Canaveral on Friday night October 5th, we have a 5pm reservation at Fishlips. We would love to have as many people join us as possible. Even if you can't make it at 5, you are still welcome to join us at your convenience. Thanks for the invite. Would love to eat dinner and meet everyone before the cruise. Unfortunately, we won't be in Port Canaveral until 10:30 Friday night. We have to drive and with me being a teacher and giving exams that day, I can't take off that day. The board of Education won't let us

You are giving exams on Friday and driving to Port Canaveral by 10:30?? Please tell me you meant you have to fly!! If you are driving from here to there that time frame, I'm glad I'll be there already!! The cruise is actually the 2nd week of our fall break. That means we have to make a beeline home. Might stay the night in Atlanta on the way home. Maybe catch the Laser Show @ Stone Mountain Saturday night....

We're just giving 1st and 2nd block exams on Friday so most of them leave after their 2nd block exam because they took their 3rd and 4th on Thursday. I'm going to see if my dd can take her 2nd exam earlier. I have 2nd block planning so I am hoping I can leave at 9:30 after I give my 1st block exam. Fingers crossed. If not, I guess we'll get there Sat. morning sometime. My dad also lives about 5 or 10 minutes from the port at Merritt Island.

OK, that makes sense! I know when we can't leave until school is out, we do good to make Cordele Georgia before midnight!! I like going through Atlanta at night anyway. Of course the traffic is better, but the Atlanta skyline is just incredible at night! Not sure how it will work this year because we can leave in the AM, and I want to get through Atlanta around lunchtime. Gotta think it over.

I haven't been on the meet thread in forever! In my defense I get the email update everyday and read it religiously. I just never get over to the tread to actually post I am bringing my sister's (TinkLoverSam) FE home with me when I visit my parents in Ottawa next month in the hope that crafty mommy (also going on the cruise) will make one for our cabin . Between the five of us we think we have our gifts sorted out so now it's just a matter of actually buying them and waiting the 162 days until the cruise
