Hey Ocean Blue Cruisers!
Some of you have seen this already, and you will likely see it several more times before the cruise!! For those who are staying in Port Canaveral on Friday night October 5th, we have a 5pm reservation at Fishlips. We would love to have as many people join us as possible. Even if you can't make it at 5, you are still welcome to join us at your convenience. I have to keep Sam @ Fishlips updated with a number (minimum of 12), so if you are planning to be @ the Port on Friday and would like to join us at Fishlips, please send me a PM on the Dis, or email me @ <jallenv@gmail.com> with a number for your party. We are booking two. We like having a few for future travel. Given the discount, a half deposit and on board credit for being gold, it's more than worth it!

Not us We have a trip to WDW planned for the next year so we can do the MNSSHP. Then after that DD is off to college and we won't have the same fall breaks.(She may not even get one) and we can only afford to go during the fall so it will be awhile before we get to come back.

We use our DVC points for our cruises and we can't book on board.

You do know you use less points if you book within a few days of returning home from the cruise. It's like an onboard point booking discount.

For those of you that Facebook, Shulie13 started a Facebook group for our cruise. If you FB and are interested, let someone know and you will be added. To those of that don't Facebook, I promise not to abandon the Dis thread!! It's interesting sometimes, but you can keep up with both. I know I discouraged the creation of a Facebook page earlier, but I have several local friends on this cruise. Some of them Facebook but don't Dis and it will be nice to get them involved also.

I really hope this thread does not die out....lately is has been busy, but before that it was pretty much dead. The whole reason to come to the dis was to meet and talk to people in this fashion. I have seen other threads which went the FB way and the thread totally died.

Well if this thread dies because of the FB page I will be done with the thread. I worked really hard at times to make sure the thread has life to it. I will still continue the FE Exchange, but that will be it if the thread goes the way of the dinosaur. People who do not do FB will miss out what is going on there and feel left out.

you are doing such a great job.. I know it will not die, I only found out about the dis boards because of FB page for the cruise on the fantasy this past week.... had no clue about this..

If we find people on our cruise that do not know about the dis boards-- I will send them this way... Julie
