We have been to WDW more times then I can count but this is our very 1st Disney cruise and we so want to be a part of the fish extender gift exchange not sure when we will get to do another cruise, but we get to share this experience with my mom Cathy and aunt Mare hope to hear back soon so excited!!!

Hi everyone we are taking our very 1st Disney cruise on the Fantasy sailing away on 4/18/2015. We usually go to WDW annually but wanted to try the cruise for such a long time now. It will be me, my husband, our DD(6) and my DS(8 months). My daughter is so excited she told me today " mommy we are going to have awesome fun" I really want to participate in the Fish exchange and maybe meet some other Dis board fans !!!

This is our family's first cruise ever and we are super excited!
We are a family of 4 from San Antonio Texas.
My daughter will be 14 at the end of March- favorite Disney character= Stitch;
Son 5 (6 in May), Favorite Disney Character= anything Marvel or 101 Dalmatians.


We booked Feb 2014 and Of all the research my husband and I have done, (I) just found this thread last night...err.
ARE THERE ANY FE GROUPS STILL OPEN?????? It sounds like such a neat idea and I know my kiddos would love to be a part of it.

This is our second cruise with Disney and we are so excited! Booked last minute to benefit from the Florida discount we were able to get. Is the FE still open??

We hope to join the FE as our daughter recently did it and loved it!

It seems there are quite a few interested in joining the FE groups, still. Has anyone gotten back with those that have recently shown interest? I'm waiting to be accepted into the FB group... Maybe we should consider putting a 'last minute' group together? Not trying to override anyone here.. I just don't want my kids to miss out.

Hi! I'm new to this board and it's our first disney cruise...my outlaws are taking us, they went last summer with another grandchild. They don't know anything about fish extenders, decorating doors, etc etc. I would like to participate w my twin girls (age 7). Is it too late?? Would love some direction.

Hello everyone! My mother and I just booked this cruise last minute, and are super exited to go. We first sailed with Disney back in 1999, but from all the reading I've done on blogs and forums, times have definitely changed. lol

One of those changes was reading about the Fish Extender groups. I know we're joining the party rather late, but we'd like to join a group if possible. I completely understand if group's are closed at this point, but can anyone give me information on them?? Thanks!

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has posted recently about a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right now in this thread.

There is enough time to plan a latecomers FE for this cruise and you seem to have a small core group right here. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.
