How easy will it be to handle a disabled child during the safety drill? Will we be able to wheel her to the drill? Can we use the elevator, if the muster station is on a different deck?

Thanks in advance.

Victoria

You have nothing to worry about with the drill. The crew on the ship will help you in every way possible. You will be able to use the elevators. I would go to guest services upon arriving and just telling them the situation. Also I would get to the terminal early. They will let you be the first one's to board the ship. They are very accomodating!

Thank you for the info, Chris. Actually, I believe DCL is already aware of our needs. This cruise had been booked for Hannah (5 on Saturday) through Make A Wish Foundation. I've already called Special Services and told them we'd be dealing with one daughter in a wheelchair and another daughter with Autism. I just wanted to cover all bases- so to speak, but I wasn't sure how the safety drill would work.

Thanks again.

I have a Hannah too. She'll be 5 in September.

Hope all of you have a wonderful WISH trip.
