Sad News, but Disney once again proved to be awesome

Your story really made me cry, my father in law just passed away on Feb 5th and he was an Army and AF vet, served in WWII. It was so touching and emotional to have the taps playing and the flag presentation. DH is in the USCG and has done funeral details so it really meant alot to him to have them there. It is hard thinking of the holidays this year, I think your trip is a great idea, I'll have to talk to my MIL and see if she would want to do the same. Big hugs, you are in our prayers.

:grouphug:My deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of such a great man. I got goosebumps reading about how wonderfully well you were treated by the Disney Family. It really does restore my faith in human-kind and corporate America to read that a company as large as Disney really does care and they know how to show it. As far as the Thanksgiving trip, I think it's a wonderful idea! Enjoy it as much as you can:cloud9:

First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.

What a nice bit of "Disney magic" though!! This experience should help us all understand why we chose Disney intsead of another timeshare.
