Some of you might remember me posting that my Mum was terminally ill. Her illness has progressed a lot faster than we anticipated and she is going into our local Hospice tomorrow morning.:sad1: She is unlikely to come home ever again and we have been told that she is very close to the end.

She is fully aware of what is happening, which in many ways makes it more distressing for everyone. She is uncomfortable, but thankfully not in any pain at the moment.

After losing my Dad in 2010, I can't quite believe I am now facing losing my Mum too.

Juliette, my thoughts are with you and your family, hold on and be strong, sometimes life deals a bad deal, but you can get through this:hug:

so sorry to hear that, thinking of you and your family

Sorry to hear this, my thoughts are with you all:hug: Hospices and there staff are a special kind. I take many to them through my job and the staff and volunteers are amazing:hug:

 Oh Juliette, I am so sorry to hear your sad news

We lost my husbands father a month or so ago and it was a blessing that he was unaware to what was going on, so this must be so hard for you all

 Huge hugs to your mum, you and your family, you are all in my thoughts

sending you lots of love and hugs Juliette, and thinking of you all

I'm so sorry to hear your news Juliette, my thoughts are with you all through these tough times. Remember all the amazing times you shared together. Lots of hugs to you

Julliette I can sympathise with your news.
Diane'e uncle who is remembering his wife's death 1 year ago has been given the news that he has terminal cancer.
We visited him before travelling to WDW in hospital when the prognosis was better.

His pride and attitude are really humbling.
Nevertheless it is sad to see a loved one in this way.

Remember all the good times.

I'm so sorry to hear your news Juliette and I understand how heartbroken you must be feeling. I lost my Mum in May 1998 and my Dad Feb 1999.

It gave my Mum great comfort having her grandchildren and family around her.

Love to you and all your family :grouphug:

So sad. I'm sorry you are facing this and so soon after your dad. Praying for strength for you and peace for you dear Mum!

I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. I totally understand what you are going through. I lost my mum to cancer in 2004, and now my best friend has been diagnosed with the same terminal cancer.

What I would say is that hospice staff are so amazing and supportive. They really helped my family and I get through things.

My thoughts are with your mum, family and you.
