She came she saw, she traded pins and is now a pro

You would have all been proud she was shy at first; at the Contemporary she only talked to 3 people and traded 2 pins.

But by Saturday at the Poly meet she was flinging her lanyard around like a pro. Using pin terminology only spoken by the pro set like “An LE for LE mister” and “Mystery pin my foot sharky person… That is a California rack pin… you are the weakest link good-bye” also “let me see an LE500 for LE7500 cause you say its rare… can you say like DUH no no no”

Later on when sharks invaded the waters, she was in front of the lines using a technique that can only be described as Kill-em with kindness pin-fu.

She even decided to hit DTD and came back pin rich, and happy.

Actually I just wanted to say I had the best time with Ruthie, she is a very classy, and nice person and I will trade with her anytime.

So you go girl, Shy fish no longer knock em dead.

And I’m sorry I gave you wrong directions and sent you to Tampa instead of the Wilderness Lodge, hey its her own fault for trading so late she missed the boat.

With hanky clutched tightly in my good hand....

I watch as another small fish swims off into the sunset, on her own, to chart her own course in the many and varied waters of the pintrading oceans.

God bless you Raul, Donna, Kathryn....and all helped finally launch Ruthie to her pin destiny.

(I hope you didn't hit her too hard with the champagne bottle. )

I got to meet Miss Thang herself at the Poly on Sat Night, saw her again on Sunday at Epcot and we did a trade! She told me she was still doubting herself a little but I gave her the best advice you can give any trader: TRUST YOUR GUT!! If it don't feel right, DON'T DO IT!! (This applies to many life stiuations other than pin trading... )
