Today is a new day, but yesterday was good. I stayed on plan, even when DH came home from Borders (went to get the unofficial guide to DL) with a cookie for me. I declined, ate my popcorn instead. I did try a bite of the cookie later and it was TERRIBLE!! so I told DH he could have it.

You are doing great on the food choices! but watch that sodium (those frozen meals are loaded!) it will put you up a pound if you are weighing everyday.

My friend teaches body sculpting, it is one hour, kind of aerobics with some resistance and abs. Should be fun.:yay:

I am trying to eat well, but I have to say I really do like some of the WW and Lean Cuisine meals a lot. I haven't logged it, but I am drinking about 120 oz of water each day as well.

I was going to edit my post, I ended up not wanting the popcorn after having dinner and the cup of coffee. Boy was it a good cup of coffee. Ever since we went on vacation, I seem to want more coffee. Usually I only drink it in the morning, but since we have been back, I am jonesing for it in the afternoon/evening. Since it only "costs" me 1 pt, it may be something to keep me from eating more. And the caffeine has no effect on my sleep. I am really tired now and ready for bed.

So tonight I went to my first Body Sculpting class with my friend Alison who teaches it.

Here's what I learned:

I am not terribly coordinated.

Most of what I learned in Boot Camp I have to "relearn"

Old guys may not look like much, but boy can they move!

The terms "medium" weights and "heavy" weights are relative.

It was a good class, nice mix of upper and lower body. You would think for someone who runs as much as I do that the lower body would be easier. WRONG!! My legs are SCREAMING right now. Maybe I push too hard, thinking I can do more? Tomorrow should be fun. I am walking in the morning, will help with the soreness. Then Friday is Dynamic Functional Strength Training, 75 minutes of more intense exercise like what I did tonight. But its all good.
 
Thursday: So I overslept, didn't get to walk this morning, will walk tonight with DD on the treadmills downstairs.

Weight: unchanged

Points for today: 23 plus exercise for walking tonight (should be 2)

I am planning on dipping (hard) into my flex since we have lunch out for work today and sometimes when I eat more I drop more weight.

I edited to add my lunch. I had the soup and a "monterey chicken melt" no roll. It was lightly breaded chicken with onion, tomato, bacon, pepperjack cheese and peppercorn ranch dressing. It was delish. The sweet potato fries are awesome, I so prefer them to regular white fries. I hit the flex points hard today, using quite a few, but I have them to use. Saturday is my starting day, so I am still good for tomorrow.

Getting ready to make dinner, then once DD is done with homework, we are going to the basement to walk on the TM for half an hour.

Doing a great job keep it up.As much as we hate treadmills I am thankful that they exist sometimes.

What about this weather? I makes me worried for thinking about doing the Princess next year- since we got home from the 1/2 has been our worse weahter yet this year here.
We have a 2 hr delay today.

Enjoy your class this am. I am going to the gym too after the kids go to run on the TREADMILL and do weights.

Yeah, I am kind of leary about running any more races that involve training in the winter. I guess for the full in '13 I will suck it up, but I think after that I am either going to a) only do fall races or b) move to a warmer climate!!

It is 5 degrees here this morning but sunny. Everyone panicked yesterday about the weather, we got out of work early since everyone cancelled. When I left work it was sunny. But very windy, which did cause some visibility issues with blowing snow.

I am not going to class this morning, my quads are still horribly sore from the other night. I don't get it, I run a lot, those muscles should be able to take it, but they are just so sore. Sitting down is tough. I will take off today and tomorrow and Sunday will go to the Y to do elliptical/rowing and lift.

I love Fridays. No work, get to go to WalMart to do my shopping, run errands, have some time to myself. Today, however, DH decided to stay home and DD only has 1/2 day of school. So not much "me" time, but that is okay.

Don't beat yourself up for a lunch out - it's weird, but when I have one indulgence for a meal, I usually end up losing something - It kind of jump starts the metabolism again. But two indulgences in a row...trouble.

I'm a little peeved at your eastcoast groundhog and this business about 6 more weeks of winter, but really, since we've only had one very cold week and mild, warm weather since, I can't really complain. No snow-thunder here, our luck, it will come testing week in mid-March.

Is your daughter still involved with her running club?
