Had to call Disney dining about something else just now so of course had to ask about the RoL package - still nothing yet.

Hummm. I read the first few pages of this thread but let's face it - it's up to 48 pages now so I'm not going to read all of them. We're going the first week of June for 8 nights. I already have 4 ADR's made for the week so now my availability on which evening we go is more limited unless I switch some stuff around. Debating if we should try for a dining pkg. or a FP when our FP window opens. I take it there hasn't been any real info. released yet on this Tiffens place either? Do you only see the ROL dining pkg at Tusker House on the mobile app? Does it not show up in My Disney Experience to book?

Rumor....is that it is a purple background with Minnie and Mickey on a little Vespa..even the Vespa is smiling. It's cute. Someone posted a picture several pages back, I think.

It's not available to book yet. It's not even listed on MDE yet

Wait- so different color bands = different color luggage tags? Has it always been that way? Last time we went, all our tags were the same despite different color bands

It's supposed to be that way....unless they run out of certain colors This was just new in the last 6 months or so though.

Called CM about something else today, CM told me River of Colors was announced to start April 22.

Is new and only for packages, not room only

I want luggage tags too, but I'm DVC.

I'm not sure who gets the tags...I think if you have a full package you do (room, tickets, dining). But my hubby and I didn't last fall when we only had room and tickets.

Starting around Sept 29, 2015, coordinating tags were shipped with magic bands under the grey cardboard insert of the box. They are for package bookings, dining plan not necessary.

I've taken to checking for ROL FP+ most evenings (it's only 10 here, which isn't late for me)--still not seeing any availability.

Just checked "Animal Kingdom Special Activities" and it's still unclickable. Interestingly enough, the photo beside it isn't showing up for me anymore. Oh and I saw the "Magic Kingdom Special activities" under dining, too. Unclickable and no photo beside it. Just FYI.

There is an uncharge for the F! reservations so it makes sense there would be as well for RoL. Perhaps they're holding back a segment of reservations that they intend to fill with RoL packages. If not, it seems like it would make sense to give current reservation holders a chance to opt-in to the package and the upcharge, because what's the alternative? Cancelling existing reservations and leveling the playing field, while angering everyone that already held a reservation? Offering the package for available reservations that have not yet been booked only, and missing out on revenue they could potentially be getting from existing reservations? I'm interested to see how this plays out, and glad I'm not in charge of managing it!

(Just going back and reading the first part of the thread... )

I'm wondering if they are going to in some way (email and/or phone) contact all with TH ADRs during the meals the package is offered (I've seen rumors of anything from all three to just dinner to lunch and dinner) to offer them the opportunity to upgrade before the release of the packages into the wild. Granted, if the 11th release date is true they don't have long to do it... But it's a thought. I'll certainly be watching my email and my phone messages closely.
