I will have a second generation wand with me on my trip. Never having used one, and having seen conflicting information about the newer wands, I wonder if anyone has any recent experience in respect to the following:
(1) There used to be some kind of ultraviolet light thing in Knockturn Alley that would reveal certain spell locations on the spell map. Apparently that is no longer offered. Is this true across the board, or only true if you have the most recent 3-park spell map?
(2) There are supposed to be a few spell locations exclusive to second generation wands. Do these work only if you do the 'adventure' thing first (which I won't be doing)? Or are the adventure-concluding spell locations a completely distinct thing?
(3) Are there any spell locations in Epic exclusive to second generation wands? It seems that there aren't.
Also, if there's anything else good to know that might not be disclosed on the spell map, any advice or reliable links would be much appreciated. Thank you.
