Rumor: Space Mountain, Say It Isnt So!!

AHH! Their is a thread on the teen boards saying that space mountain is closed down for renovation. I was wondering if anyone could confirm this rumor. Speaking for someone going in a couple of weeks this is very depressing. Who knows??

I hadn't heard that. Maybe it has something to do with the crash on Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland.

The Tokyo SM had a derailment a few days ago. Noone was hurt.

The DisneyLand SM has been down for months and will be down until 2005 for refurbishment.

It isn't so.

SM at WDW usually goes down for rehab for a week or so in January, that is the only closing I know about. SM in DL is closed and is basically being rebuilt from the ground up due to serious structural problems.

Space Mountain is being rehabbed at DisneyLAND (California) but not DisneyWORLD (Orlando).
