Rules for Swan govt.rate

Please help!!!
This website says that any govt employee can use the discount rate.
The Starwood/Swan & Dolphin websites clearly say that it applies to US federal government employees with no mention of State and municipal employees. Has this policy recently changed? DH is a police officer. Do we qualify?

Yep, you qualify-- the Starwood policy for gov discounts applies only to federal employes, but the S/D have expanded that to local and state, as well.
