RTQ experiences?

I would hope your situation gets approved for DAS, though it's good to be prepared just in case. Good luck!

Agree that we aren't likely to see reports of return times offered because that is a very limited option. I have seen reports of AQR, though not as many as I thought. I just re-read the AQR thread and it seems to only have a couple, there may be a few scattered throughout the main DAS Changes thread. And I've seen a few reports on other sites. But again, this is the enter-leave-re-join option, not the get-a-digital-return-time option.
Truly I don't expect there to be many people to give a lot of reporting even on AQR - the bulk of users, if they use it at all on a multiple day trips, will have a small handful of times, which doesn't give a whole lot of information. It's like how I can give our experience on the three rides we left, which were in different parks and on different days in the weeks before the new policies, but that doesn't mean I can tell anything helpful about any other ride. All I can really say is things were seamless and nobody really cared that we re-entered. It was boring, making me even less likely to bring it up.
The reports that will be particularly helpful are going to come from people who are heavy users, who in the end are probably more likely to end up being granted DAS level accommodations.

I am confused. I thought there were two processes that could be handled by front line CM.

AQR ~ Attraction Queue Re-entry
This is entering the line and then if one has a need to leave they exit to handle their needs they will rejoin the party, who remained in line, at the merge. Or if someone is alone the CM will tell them how to handle rejoining the line which will vary by attraction. This is the common one.

RTQ ~ Return to Queue
This is where the CM at the ride will issue you a return time without entering the queue. This is the one that will rarely be given, because CMs are being monitored as to how many they give out. It is implied in reports that giving them out could go against the CM so they may not be willing to give out. (I know I wouldn't, Disney's whole point system is hard enough). This is the one I would not plan on getting.

Am I not understanding what I've been reading? We don't go until September, have no idea if we will be approved so want to make sure I understand all the options so we can have Plan A, B and C.
Guest's on social media are using RTQ to refer to what you are describing, which is essential the same thing as a wheelchair return time as others have mentioned.

CMs are using both terms (AQR and RTQ) interchangiably thought. So it's really best if guests just aske what CMs can do to help them at each attraction if they need to leave without using any specific terminology.
