hi

just wondered if anyone had used this service as its approx 50 euros cheaper than a private shuttle

thanks

Hi, no I haven't. But scampbunny who is just back reported that she waited over an hour for them to pick them up from the airport. Many others have used them in the past, so this might be a one off.

We used Ezyshuttle a few weeks ago and their service was exceptional. Well worth every euro :thumbsup2

yes, we used them, and yes they were cheap, but having lost an hour plus of our disney time due to them.... dunno

they claimed the reason for delay was trafiic, yet there was a steady stream of taxis coming through, and i never heard anyone get out saying anything on traffic.... also, i had to chase them, they did not call to say they were late juat told me when i called they wud b 30 mins late, and after 30 mins and theyd not turned up, i did get a call, they said it wud b 10 minutes longer, but in fact it was over 20 mins.....

on way to disney we came across no traffic at all..... so, whos to say whether theyd forgot us, or there was traffic - but as the guy didnt apologise for the delay, im inclined to think the former.... :confused3

mines just one review tho...

We've used them twice and they've been fine, but we've had to phone them to tell them we had arrived. I think they must wait somewhere in airport until called! On return they've been on time. Saving of about 80 euros on ezyshuttle quote so think we'll use them again!:coffee:

I used RS for our first trip many years ago and on the return trip to the airport they were a little late to collect us from the hotel, not so much so that it was a problem... until we found they did not have a baby seat for my then, 6 month old daughter . They did manage to hook up with another driver and borrow his but I wasn't happy as you can imagine.

Never used them since. Have used Ezy a number of times and never had an issue. He is quite a small company though and therefore does farm out work if he can't do it - often he doesn't tell you this though. Last week he picked us up from the airport himself but on the Friday collection it was TioShuttle who collected us on his behalf :confused3. I only know this because the guy kept his business cards in a little holder in the front of the car - about 5 mins in he must have remembered (or felt he had advertised enough!) as he removed the cards (which I thought was a little odd??). Having said that, I just remembered another thing I thought odd, he didn't come into the hotel for us like Ezy has in the past. We were just in the lobby area and I saw him sitting outside and, as it was about 5 mins after our pick up time I ventured out. As I approached the minibus he put up a sign with my name on. I'm not sure how long he would have waited there if I hadn't gone out :confused3:rolleyes:.

I'd email Ezyshuttle and let him know about that. I think that coming into the hotel/airport etc was the best part of the service. Very good. He probably wouldn't be happy to hear that other drivers didn't do the same.

Can I ask the cost please I am trying to decide wether its cheaper to fly (would need transport form airport) or go Eurostar (would need train to st Pan)

Julie - that is a fair point, I did think it was a little odd as John has always come in for us. Luckily as I said, we were waiting near the door and I noticed this minibus had been waiting a little while - presumed it was for someone else but when it was still there 5 mins after our pick up time, I thought I'd go and have a look! :confused3

To be fair, DD1 felt a little sick in the bus on the way back - the driver was very attentive - put on the aircon for her, offered to pull over etc.

cant help on the coming in as when we were picked up by ezyshuttle we were sat outside lol

the price is about €88 for 2-4 ppl i think it is.....

as for phoning to say ur there... if thats what they expect u to do, maybe they shud put that on their sheet??? wud have saved us a good amount of time if id phoned the instant we were out, rather than just waiting and waiting....

next time will b either ezyshuttle or maybe ill brave the tgv?? lol

We paid 70 euros each way for private shuttle if that helps (that was for 4 of us).

Nikki - I thought the TGV was almost as expensive as private shuttle? I can't recall the cost but for the four of us I'm sure it was about the same, if not more :confused3.

cant remember... just know it wud be quicker ;):rotfl:

all this is supposition as not sure if we will be going back yet...... :rotfl:

 - I asked you on your highs & lows thread when you were going back, but you either didn't see it or you chose to ignore it because you didn't want to give the game away :rotfl:!!

After reading a few reviews on the shuttles i am leaning towards getting a taxi, are there many available at the airport and does anyone have any idea on cost please
