Just back from a great UO weekend. Met with lots of Dis'ers & did lots of rides and partying at Mardi Gras. Lotta fun!
Sure, RPR was busy. Spring Break & conventions goin' on. Fri. nite was uneventful on our wing (#1411 - facing the front, nothing fancy; stand. view).
Sat. nite was a loud party till around 3 am though. DD & I so tired it didn't faze us. DW, on the other hand, didn't sleep too well. She said Security was in our hallway a couple times.
Met people on elevator next day grumbling about the same thing.

Now, here's the funny part (at least we can laugh some now)-
DW did the checking out and mentioned this to (name withheld) at Loews First desk. DW was told we were informed at check-in "there would be parties going on in Tower 1 this weekend".
Firstly, we were told no such thing.
Secondly, this isn't what a lodging guest wants to hear. Ever.

It's outta my hands now. DW is on warpath.
Thought I'd pass along this info for anyones' future reference.
And Tower 1 used to be such a nice neighborhood!
Jim

I wouldn't want to see your dw on the warpath! RPH had better watch out.

How dare they? And I was hoping that the RPH would be island people friendly... I would suggest writing a themed letter to the manager about the problem and what was said. Make it kind of entertaining and let them know that even though you are a good sport you were very disappointed.

Hotels should not mix families with spring breakers unless they give the families a major price break... Hotels also should never mix families (especiially those named Mersberg) with cheerleaders :bounce: ...but that is another story.

Of course, if it had been Diser's partying, aand if I was there, we wives could have snuck out while DHs and children/grandchildren slept... And then there would have been no complaints. ;)

Aloha,
Donna

Make it very entertaining. Maybe they'll offer you a great deal for club level.

I agree with Donna.. it can't hurt!

I'm a little worried now, I'm at RPH during Spring Break, too! YIKES!

Robin, When will you be there, we're going April 18-22. We are supposed to be driving, yuk, but if the airfare ever comes down we'll be flying.

Patty

Aw, shucks, Patty...

Michael's spring break is BEFORE Easter this year, the week of April 7th. We'll be there 4/6-4/11. Geee.... :(
