Rpr In July 06

Hello all, after researching the three resorts, ive decided RPR sounds like my cup of tea. With decision made I have been researching prices for july of 06. The best rate I can find is a AAA rate of $183.20 a night for a standard room. After talking to resort reservations, I was told that the hotel is ALREADY pretty full for my dates and she doubts I will see any specials coming up for my dates. I guess my question is should I just go ahead and book this or does anybody else have suggestions or ideas? thanks!

I believe that's a good price for that time of year. If that price is within your budget, I suggest that you book that rate and then keep your eyes on prices. If the prices drop, then contact them and request to have your stay repriced with the new amount. Last June, we had an initial APH rate of $179. About a month prior, they dropped it to $159 so I contacted them and had the lower rate applied to my stay. Good luck and have fun!

I can't even get an AAA rate for my stay June 30-July 2, so if I were you I would grab it. I would still keep checking back periodically for specials (or check these boards, someone will post when they get a better rate!)

I can't even get an AAA rate for my stay June 30-July 2, so if I were you I would grab it.

we got the $183.20 AAA rate for June 28-July 2, 2006.... sorry to be one of "those" filling the hotel up! Good luck and hope to see ya there!

If I put in your dates, I could still get the AAA rates at all levels of rooms. However, for only 2 nights the only thing it shows as even available is a King Suite! I am hoping that changes eventually, although it is the weekend before the 4th of July.

isn't it amazing how soon people book their hotel?? that's why I start early. we go to Florida every year at the end of June/beginning of July....so, I start reserving the stuff we need as soon as it's available!
