Hey, we are fervently trying to get down to UO for a "mini-moon" for Labor Day weekend (just need to find the best deal on airfare at this late date). Anyone know if Shannon, Denise, and Yoko are still working in the club lounge? They were there for our engagement, and it would be nice to see them again.

TIA

mini moon??? when are you getting married, or did I miss your date?? Congradulations!!!! As far as your post, I can't answer that... Good luck on your airfares...

Hi Sharon! We were married this Saturday (8/20) in Maine. It was a great day! We didn't think we'd have time for a honeymoon as my brother is getting married in Hawaii in October, but we just found out that we have 5 full days off for Labor Day! And with the stay 3, get your 4th night free for Annual Passholders, it's too hard to pass up a trip to UO! I am going to write the RPR lounge staff next week and see who is still there.

:)

Congradulations once again!! Have you found your airfare yet??? I had wanted to do the pay three stay 4 for Labor Day, but my kids didn't want to miss school. My middle one is a senior this year & they are cracking down on absences. She is already missing 2 in Oct & 2 in Dec. Then her boyfriend's parents asked her to go sking with them in CO in Feb...that would be 5 more missed (and she said not to that). The school district is only allowing a total of 19 days for the entire school year, excused or unexcused, more than that & they will not give you your credits (even if you are an A student). ....so we will be at Disney for Labor Day Weekend...3 nights at the AS-Movies. I just couldn't bring myself to pay for the 3 & know I could have had the 4th free & not stay, so I am being cheap & doing Disney.
Are your cats going with you on this trip? Have you ever taken them? I want to take my dogs when I go in Dec, but they are both nearly 100lbs. 2 dogs, me & 3 kids..... the rooms are too small for us :rotfl:

Hi Sharon. We did find our airfare, and the only reason that it wasn't unreasonable was because we had about $180 in Delta credits which we used to bring down the outrageous fare! God willing, we arrive Friday morning at 10:45 and leave Tuesday afternoon at 2:15.

I understand about schools cracking down on absences. We asked our niece's parents if they'd let us take her on our 4-day DCL cruise next year, but she'll be in KINDERGARTEN, and can't risk any unneeded absences! Her mom is afraid of her being left behind. :(

We have never taken Alex and Nessa on any of our trips. They are too afraid of everything and a plane trip would be entirely too traumatic for them. We had to have a cat sitter for the 7 days we were gone for our wedding, and she only saw Alex once towards the end of her time with them! Needless to say, they were very undemanding cats and she asked when she could sit for them again! I can see why the rooms would be too small for you, the kids, and the dogs. You'd need a suite just for the puppies!
